We are a team of 6 lawyers led by the Group Chief Legal Officer, with backgrounds from international law firms and regulated entities, and we are genuinely happy to share what we know. The main goal of this position is to handle the essential day-to-day administration and support workflows that keep our legal department running smoothly. You will be a key operational support across a broad range of tasks — from document management and corporate filings to drafting basic legal documents and managing vendor onboarding requests. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates; for part-time, we require daily availability of 4–8 hours. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? * Providing general administrative support to the legal team including tracking deadlines, scanning, coordinating execution of documents, etc. * Managing the legal department's document database. * Tracking corporate changes across the FTMO Group (directorship changes, registered address updates, share transfers, etc.). * Supporting corporate and regulatory filings. * Drafting and managing routine legal documents such as Powers of Attorney, NDAs, and basic correspondence. * Managing end-to-end vendor onboarding process, including preparation of relevant forms, collecting and verifying required documentation and liaising with internal stakeholders (Finance, IT, …), potentially also assistance with contracts review (depending on level of expertise and experience). * Handling incoming KYC requests from vendors and other third parties and ensuring timely and accurate responses. * Assisting with legal research on straightforward matters as directed by the team. * We encourage using AI, automation, and modern workflows to work smarter and streamline your daily tasks. WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU? * Minimum of a high school diploma. * No prior legal experience required; we will gladly teach you everything, though administrative or legal support background is a plus. We would especially welcome somebody with experience working in a law firm. * Good English and Czech (written & spoken) is essential, as you will handle Czech & international onboarding documents and digital systems daily. * You have a sharp eye for detail and the patience needed for routine compliance checklists and data entry. * You bring a proactive, helpful attitude and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities CASE MANAGEMENT & LEGAL STRATEGY * Autonomously manage a diverse caseload of possession matters (standard and complex/defended) and debt recovery instructions from inception to enforcement. * Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing high-level strategic advice that balances legal risk with commercial objectives. * Draft complex pleadings, witness statements, and instructions to Counsel; represent clients at hearings where appropriate. * Supervise and mentor paralegals or junior fee-earners, ensuring the quality and accuracy of their output. * Ensure rigorous adherence to Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), court deadlines, and bespoke client Service Level Agreements (SLAs). COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT * Consistently meet or exceed individual monthly billing and time-recording targets. * Take full accountability for the financial lifecycle of files, including proactive WIP management, disbursements, and debt recovery on unpaid invoices. * Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand the firm’s landlord and tenant or debt recovery portfolio. * Contribute to the firm’s profitability by optimizing file-handling processes and ensuring cost-effective matter management. LEGISLATIVE LEADERSHIP & TECHNICAL EXPERTISE * Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Landlord and Tenant law, with a deep understanding of the Renters’ Rights Act and its practical implications for clients. * Lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions and provide technical guidance to the wider team on emerging legislative trends. * Ensure total compliance with SRA standards and internal risk management protocols. * Maintain a proactive approach to CPD, focusing on high-level technical mastery and strategic litigation tactics.
