The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $144,000 - $180,000, not inclusive of potential equity
offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and

This role is based in our Sydney or Melbourne office with an in-person requirement of at least 3 days per week. RESPONSIBILITIES • Work closely and partner with Sales teams on SaaS transactions that drive company revenue. • Structure, negotiate, and close complex sales transactional agreements. • Provide sound advice and guidance on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders. • Manage risk and ensure business and compliance needs are accurately reflected in agreements. • Work well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. • Respond promptly to the demands of an active technology sales team and their management. • Develop and deliver training on legal issues and contract processes. • Support continuous improvements of forms, policies and processes to help streamline, simplify and automate our contracting processes (including through the use of AI tools). • Keep abreast of the rapidly evolving legal landscape affecting our expanding portfolio of service features. A successful candidate will be able to forge strong relationships with Snowflake customers, as well as internal clients and cross-functional groups within Snowflake, including sales, professional services, alliances, finance, and deal desk. QUALIFICATIONS • At least 6 years of legal experience including in-house experience with a successful, high-growth enterprise SaaS company. • Law degree from a reputable university and current Australian practising certificate (or eligibility to hold one) • Outstanding analytical, drafting, negotiation, collaboration, written and communication skills. • Strong background with SaaS-centric issues (e.g., revenue recognition, tax, security, data privacy, intellectual property), professional services and various go-to-market programs. • Exceptional and pragmatic organizational, project management, problem-solving and prioritization skills. • Flexibility and eagerness to work hard in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines (especially at quarter end). • The ability to think and execute both strategically and tactically. • Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of people at all levels inside and outside the organization. • Service-oriented, responsive, professional and strong integrity. • Experience working with highly regulated cloud customers (e.g., FinServ, healthcare, etc.) and/or experience supporting the sale of generative AI offerings (and negotiation of associated terms), is a plus. • Experience in public sector contracting at state and/or federal level is a plus. • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions and AI-enabled tools is a plus.
