Abion is looking for an entry-level Threat Analyst – Brand Protection to join our dynamic, international team in sunny St.
Julian’s, Malta. In this role, you’ll use specialist software and open-source research to detect, analyse, and report online
threats, especially domain-related risks, helping our clients act fast to protect their brand integrity.

Hybrid working policy allows for 2 days flexible work from home per week.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the Abion team, you’ll collaborate with our international network of IP professionals, working on a diverse portfolio
of cases and clients. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and delivering exceptional legal services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review domain names flagged by monitoring tools and assess potential misuse.
Investigate suspicious activity using OSINT and dedicated research platforms.
Evaluate risk against defined criteria to determine threat levels to brand integrity.
Analyse data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for clients.
Produce clear, comprehensive threat reports using dedicated tooling.
Collaborate with IP Counsel and cross-functional teams to align with client monitoring strategies.
Stay current on domain monitoring trends/technologies and suggest process improvements.
Provide professional, responsive service to clients and colleagues.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and excited to make an impact in the digital brand protection space. You have a strong
technical mindset, enjoy problem-solving, and feel confident working with multiple software tools.
Fluency in English is essential, and you bring a structured, process-driven way of working that helps you stay focused and deliver
with precision, even under pressure. Experience or curiosity in domains, online investigations, or brand protection is a big plus.
Most importantly, you’re proactive, curious, and ready to learn in a fast-paced, international environment where collaboration and
continuous improvement are part of everyday life.
