Backend Engineer Node.js to Waitwhile

As a member of our Service Intelligence team, you’ll focus on the backend systems, infrastructure, and data foundations that power

Waitwhile at enterprise scale and enable our clients to access valuable insights on their daily operations. You’ll work closely

with our VP of Engineering and our cross-functional engineering teams, contributing to scalable, high-impact features that improve

both our platform and user experience.

This is also where we’re building the foundation for our AI initiatives, working with rich operational data to unlock smarter

insights around things like wait times, staffing, and service performance.

Our tech stack includes TypeScript and JavaScript, NodeJS, Firebase, Firestore, BigQuery, Angular, and React, running on Linux in

Google Cloud Platform.

This position is based in Stockholm at our offices on Kungsgatan 32. We’re a hybrid company and prefer that you work from the

office at least 2 days per week, as we believe the best product gets built together, live.

• Full engineering lifecycle including technical design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production

monitoring.
