Om tjänsten

A product-oriented banking and finance professional who understands both the commercial transaction and the accounting behind it,

and can bridge Finance & Accounting with Product & Tech to create scalable system solutions.

Bank at core, innovation at heart

Nordiska is a bank offering a complete range of financial services, allowing us to tailor solutions to each customer while

simultaneously enabling them to gain access to advanced financial technology. Part of our offering is our Embedded platform,

enabling enterprise partners across Europe to seamlessly integrate financial services – including saving, lending, and payments –

into innovative product offerings. Additionally, we provide corporate and real estate financing, as well as sustainable savings

with a government-backed deposit guarantee.

To meet future demands, we continuously scale our modern technology platform, expand partner integrations, and accelerate product

innovation to help shape the future of financial services.

Working at Nordiska

Since our founding, we have been committed to driving innovation and creating meaningful impact. We work towards an ambitious

vision and goals, backed up by our history of successfully delivering high-quality results and sustainable growth.

Historically and going forward, the people working at Nordiska are what enables our success. We balance our professional

environment with an entrepreneurial mindset, always acting with honesty and responsibility, to build long-term trust among

customers, partners and employees.

About the Role

We are looking for a person to join our Product organisation and operate in the intersection between Finance, Accounting, Banking

Products and Technology.

The role will act as an important link between Finance & Accounting and Product & Tech, with a particular focus on how banking

products and business events are represented, processed and accounted for across our systems.

You will need to understand the full business flow behind a financial transaction – for example how a card purchase, loan

disbursement, repayment, interest accrual or deposit moves through our banking platform – and translate that into robust system

and accounting requirements.

This is therefore not a traditional accounting role. We are looking for someone who combines a solid understanding of accounting

with strong systems thinking and an understanding of banking products and processes.

In the role, you will

Act as the link between Finance & Accounting and Product & Tech when developing and improving financial and banking processes.
Understand end-to-end business flows and translate them into system and accounting requirements.
  • Define how different business events should be represented and accounted for across the banking platform, financial systems and

General Ledger.

  • Work with transaction and accounting flows related to areas such as cards, loans and credits, savings and deposits, payments,

interest and fees, repayments, settlement and reconciliation.

  • Ensure that accounting logic implemented in our systems accurately reflects both the underlying business event and requirements

from Finance.

Map and document business processes, transaction flows and accounting flows.
Translate Finance and Accounting requirements into clear specifications for Product and Engineering.
  • Participate in development and implementation of new banking products and functionality from an accounting and financial

systems perspective.

Identify gaps, manual processes and reconciliation issues and drive improvements and increased automation.
  • Support the design of integrations and data flows between Core Banking, payment systems, product systems and

financial/accounting systems.

Contribute to scalable financial processes as products, transaction volumes and the organisation grow.

Your Professional Profile

We are looking for an analytical and structured professional with a strong understanding of accounting and financial flows,

combined with experience in banking and financial systems. You enjoy exploring complex business flows, investigating discrepancies

and translating Finance and Accounting needs into clear requirements. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively with

technical and non-technical stakeholders and combine attention to detail with a broader business perspective.

We believe that you have

You have a BSc or MSc in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent, preferably with an Accounting focus.
You understand accounting principles, financial flows and how business events translate into accounting entries and reporting.
  • You have experience with Core Banking Systems or transaction-heavy financial platforms, as well as ERP systems such as

NetSuite.

You understand how banking systems handle transactions, balances, interest, fees and accounting events.
You have experience with banking products such as cards, lending, savings, or payments.
  • You are analytical and structured, able to analyse end-to-end flows, investigate discrepancies and translate Finance and

Accounting needs into business and system requirements.

You collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.

It is meritorious if you have

Experience with Mambu or another modern Core Banking Platform.
Experience from a digital bank, fintech, consumer finance company or specialist bank.
Experience with reconciliation, settlement and General Ledger integrations.
Experience working closely with software engineering teams.

Application

If you’re looking to join a growth-driven environment that pairs innovation with profitability and reliability, welcome to

Nordiska. We look forward to receiving your application.

We review and interview continuously, with background checks as part of the final stage of our process. For questions about the

role and or more information, you are warmly welcome to contact Lydia Cezar at lydia.cezar@nordiska.com
