The position
We are looking for a IT Service Technician to join our IT organization in Stockholm. You will be part of Cambio’s IT department
and the IT Service Desk team, working closely with fellow IT Service Technicians to deliver world-class internal IT support to our
Cambians.
You will work in a modern, Microsoft-based environment, supporting a growing organization with high expectations regarding
availability, quality, and user experience. A key part of the role is providing high-priority support to executives and senior
stakeholders, where professionalism, trust, and a strong understanding of business impact are essential.

About you
To thrive as a IT Service Technician at Cambio, you are someone who builds strong relationships, enjoys collaborating with

service-oriented mindset, remaining calm and focused even in high-priority or unexpected situations.
You have a genuine interest in IT and technology and enjoy staying up to date with new developments. When supporting less
technically experienced users, you communicate clearly and adapt your language to make complex matters easy to understand.

You will also interact with external parties such as infrastructure hardware and software vendors, managed service providers, datacenter and cloud partners, and external consultants. Responsibilities In this role, you will be a key contributor to strengthening and developing Knightec Group’s core IT landscape. You will act as a subject matter expert and 3rd line escalation point, while also taking part and in cases drive strategic infrastructure initiatives that improve resilience, reduce complexity, and position the business for a fast-paced future. In addition to your personal qualities, you should have: * Engineering degree in IT or equivalent competence. * At least 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, or platform-focused IT roles. * Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise infrastructure across servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and cloud services. * Strong experience with virtualisation (e.g. VMware, Proxmox, Nutanix, HyperV). * Strong experience in networking (firewalls, switching, routing, micro segmentation, WiFi and related hardware). * Strong experience with system administration in Windows Server and Linux (e.g. installation, patching, web servers, hardening, logging). * Solid experience with Identity management (e.g. AD, EntraID, IAM, RBAC, SSO, User provisioning, PIM, PAM, Access tiering). * Experience in backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. * A strong automation mindset and experience improving operational efficiency through scripting, standardization, or infrastructure-as-code approaches. * Experience with both infrastructure and system monitoring. * A structured and security-focused way of working, with sound judgement in change management and access control. * The ability to document clearly, communicate effectively, and collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups. * Fluency in English, written and spoken. Nice to Have * Swedish is highly meritorious. * Experience in the professional service industry, e.g. working as a consultant. * Experience with any type of coding. * Experience working in an international IT environment. * Experience working with Azure and/or AWS in hybrid enterprise environments. WHAT IS EXCITING ABOUT THE JOB As a Technical Support Representative, you will be part of our Technical Support Team and will help our customers and partners with technical problems on their existing payment terminals and helping them install new payment terminals. Good knowledge of different networks such as Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LAN will help you with these tasks. You will also need to help with requests for changes to terminal data and perform software updates. There will also be questions from customers about settlements and transactions. You will answer phone calls, answer emails and log all cases to our ticket system (JIRA) as part of your work. Working Times: This is an on-site position in our office located in Stockholm (Ljusslingan 4, 120 31 Stockholm, Sweden), and the working hours are 40 hours a week. As part of the working hours you will work a rotational shift pattern which will includes late evenings and weekends. The hours of work are between 8am-18.00pm. ABOUT YOU This job is perfect for you if you like problem-solving, good customer service, and talking to customers. You will be trained in systems as well as products so that you are ready to help in this position, but having a technical interest is considered an advantage. If you are a tech-savvy person and have an interest in always learning about the latest technologies, computers, programs, this is the perfect job for you - the payment industry is constantly evolving, and you will often have new things to learn as we have new payment terminal models, payment types that we bring to market for our customers. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE DESIRE * Native or fluent Swedish and business fluent English * Experience and background in technical support is an advantage * Strong end-user of IT systems and good ability to familiarize yourself with new systems * Any experience from the support function is a plus, and you see yourself as a problem solver * An advantage if you have experience from industries with a high volume of customers and transactions and/or from international organizations with access to several different IT platforms.
