We are seeking a Senior IT Architect on behalf of a leading energy company focused on renewable energy and wind power operations.
In this role, you will play a key part in guiding the IT architecture landscape to drive growth, digitalisation, and operational
excellence across onshore and offshore operations.
Job Description
The consultant will provide architectural leadership across business, application, data, integration, and technology domains to
support strategic transformation initiatives. You will work closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, project
teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that solution designs align with long-term strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include shaping business initiatives from an architectural perspective and providing expert direction on IT
strategy, integration architecture, data management, cloud adoption, and IT/OT convergence.
You will develop key architecture deliverables such as target state architectures, roadmaps, solution overviews, decision records,
and governance artefacts.
Additionally, you will facilitate architectural discussions and workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders,
support governance forums, and drive continuous capability development within the domain.
Requirements and Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Solution Architecture, or similar senior
architectural roles within asset-intensive industries such as energy, utilities, renewables, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, or Zachman.
Proven expertise in integration architecture, API-based ecosystems, data platforms, data governance, and hybrid cloud adoption
strategy.
Hands-on experience with digital transformation programmes, application portfolio management, and business capability modelling
within complex international organisations.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex
architectural decisions into clear business recommendations for senior management.
A strategic, proactive, and self-managed mindset, comfortable with challenging existing approaches while balancing long-term
architectural direction with practical project delivery.
Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
Nice to Have:
Experience from renewable energy, wind power, offshore operations, utilities, or energy trading environments.
Background in IT/OT architecture, operational technology environments, Industrial IoT, telemetry, SCADA, or real-time operational
data platforms.
Track record supporting large-scale growth, acquisition, or organizational transformation programmes.
Knowledge of data-driven operating models and advanced analytics capabilities.

Solna, Stockholm.
Remote/office policy
Hybrid work model requiring a minimum of 2 days or 40% onsite presence per week at the office in Solna, along with occasional
travel approximately once per month.
Start Date
November 9, 2026.
Assignment Length
Until June 30, 2027.
