Merchant Underwriter
Are you prepared to drive innovation in risk assessment and underwriting? We’re seeking a Merchant Underwriter Advisor to join our
dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to delve deep into risk analysis, compliance, and merchant onboarding
processes while collaborating with various teams across our organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Merchant Underwriter, you will:
- Evaluate Merchant Risk: Assess merchant applications to identify potential risks, ensuring compliance with fraud prevention and
regulatory AML standards.
- Supporting: in analysis and assessment of the credit risk on incoming business proposals and present recommendations to the
Credit Committee.
Verify Key Information: Review critical documentation and details to confirm accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
Conduct Due Diligence: Perform background checks and analysis to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
Analyze Operations: Evaluate businesses to confirm alignment with company policies and standards.
Document Findings: Prepare comprehensive reports to support informed decision-making.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal departments to address complex cases and enhance processes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We believe you have:
1-3+ years of experience in underwriting, risk assessment, or related roles within the payments or financial services industry.
A critical mindset with the ability to evaluate risks from multiple angles.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Proficiency in analyzing complex structures and compliance requirements.
Fluency in Swedish and English.
