Om tjänsten

Brocc is a specialized niche bank embarking on a bold and transformative growth journey, fueled by strong institutional backing

and a clear strategic vision. Positioned at the forefront of the European credit market, Brocc combines deep heritage in consumer

finance with cutting-edge technology and a disciplined approach to balance sheet and treasury management — building a

best-in-class debt finance platform that supports clients across the full credit lifecycle.

With substantial capital resources, an ambitious growth agenda, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture, Brocc is uniquely

placed to shape the future of the credit ecosystem. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking institution that is not only

driving liquidity and resilience in the market but contributing to greater stability and transparency across the European

financial landscape.

Now, we're looking for a Senior Financial Controller to take ownership of the quality, consistency, and control of financial

information flowing into Group Finance. The role suits you if you combine strong accounting knowledge with quality assurance,

process harmonisation, and systems development. You'll work in an entrepreneurial environment where change is a natural part of

everyday life, with real opportunities to influence how the Finance function develops going forward.

What you’ll do

As Senior Financial Controller, you're responsible for the quality, completeness, and consistency of financial information flowing

from the group's international legal entities and external service providers into Group Finance. You'll be a central link between

the entities, outsourced accounting and corporate service providers, and Group Finance. Working closely with the Head of Group

Accounting & Reporting, you will ensure that reporting, data flows, processes, and controls are reliable and that deadlines are

met. You will understand how entity-level information affects group reporting, while ownership of consolidation and external

reporting remains with the Head of Group Accounting & Reporting. You'll work both operationally and with a development mindset, in

a role with many touchpoints and real opportunities to make an impact. In practice, that means:

  • Own the quality assurance of accounting and reporting data from all legal entities and external service providers within the

group

  • Coordinate and follow up with subsidiaries and external service providers at every month-end close, ensuring complete and

timely delivery

  • Analyse and follow up on the parent company at every month-end close, using strong accounting judgement to identify and

challenge errors and unusual movements

Drive improvements in ERP systems, reporting tools, and the data flows into Group Finance
Take part in month-end closing and support group reporting through validated entity-level data and reconciliations
Identify root causes of errors and reporting weaknesses, drive corrective action, and streamline financial processes
  • Drive process harmonisation across entities by establishing common reporting principles, deadlines, controls, and ways of

working

Act as a key point of contact for the business on financial matters
Contribute to developing reporting, data governance, structure, and clear accountabilities within Finance
  • Develop practical internal control processes within Finance that strengthen reporting quality and support efficient operational

accounting

Who you are

You're a senior, self-driven Financial Controller with strong accounting knowledge who thrives in a complex business that's

changing and evolving quickly. You understand both the figures and the processes behind them and can challenge financial

information rather than simply ccompiling. You enjoy building new ways of working rather than simply maintaining what already

exists, and you bring a structured, solution-oriented, and down-to-earth approach to your work. More specifically, you bring:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, or Group Financial Controller in a complex group

environment, with hands-on responsibility for accounting quality, month-end close, reporting flows, and process improvement

Proven experience working independently within an international group and coordinating reporting across multiple legal entities
Strong systems understanding and proven ability to improve financial processes, controls, and data flows
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and financial analysis, with the accounting knowledge required to identify and resolve

underlying issues

Communicative, and thrive with many stakeholder touchpoints
Take ownership, drive your own work forward, and value collaboration
A natural drive, with a habit of taking your own initiative, motivated by creating order, quality, and efficiency
Fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written
  • Experience with NetSuite, outsourced accounting or corporate service providers, a niche bank, fintech, or another regulated

financial business is a plus

Why Brocc?

We're a ~50-person team backed by Cerberus Capital Management, with local presence in Stockholm, Helsinki, and London and

operations across 15 European markets. You'll join at a pivotal moment in our growth, with real ownership of your area and direct

visibility to senior leadership, including the CRO, CEO, and Board. We move fast, we value people who take initiative, and we're

building a credit institution that genuinely changes how consumers and counterparties experience finance.

Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you.
