ABOUT US

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal

teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing

thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters:

judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and

Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through

acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler.

We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and

campaigns featuring Jude Law.

Joining Legora means three things.

We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.
We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.
We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

THE ROLE

Legora is one of the fastest-growing legal technology companies in the world, and our legal team is built to match:

forward-deployed, AI-first and working across jurisdictions and disciplines. As Senior Legal Lead, Commercial, you will build and

lead our commercial legal function in EMEA, while staying hands-on in the deals that matter most.

You will be the legal partner to our Growth leaders, setting the commercial legal direction for the region, coaching and

developing a growing team of counsel, and making sure we close deals quickly without taking on risk we haven’t chosen. You’ll work

across time zones with a high degree of autonomy.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead and develop the EMEA commercial legal team: set priorities, coach team members, and build a culture of pragmatic,

business-minded lawyering.

Act as the senior legal partner to Growth on strategic customer engagements.
Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of complex customer contracts, and handle escalations from the team.
Own the approach to commercial risk allocation, pricing structures, liability and contractual protections.
  • Build scalable, repeatable contracting practices by developing and maintaining templates, playbooks and negotiation guidelines

that raise deal velocity.

  • Manage data protection and compliance considerations within commercial contracting, so risk is handled without slowing

execution.

Work with legal leadership on team structure, hiring and ways of working as the EMEA function scales.

WHO YOU ARE

Law degree (LL.M. or equivalent) from Sweden, or an EU-jurisdiction, qualified to practice in that country.
10+ years of experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house, including experience leading, mentoring or managing lawyers.
Deep experience negotiating B2B SaaS agreements and supporting commercial teams. You are an excellent negotiator.
Strong legal judgment and the confidence to make decisions independently and to stand behind them with senior stakeholders.
Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements; corporate matters experience is valuable.
A focus on business outcomes: you turn legal analysis into clear, actionable advice.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, taking initiative and managing work across time zones.
Genuine interest in AI and legal tech, and the curiosity to apply these tools in day-to-day legal work.
