Senior Mechanical Engineer

OHB Sweden is a leading Swedish supplier of space systems. We develop, build, test and commission satellites and subsystems for

space missions in, for example, communication, earth observation and space research for institutional and commercial customers

within and outside Europe.

Building a satellite requires a broad range of expertise, involving the analysis, design, manufacturing, and testing of both

hardware and software. At OHB Sweden, we offer engineers an exceptional opportunity to expand their technical skills across all

domains.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with space experience in the complete chain from CAD mechanical design, FEM

analysis, and generation of production drawings to follow-on testing of the manufactured product.

Collaborating with external partners (customers, payload suppliers, etc.) to define and implement mechanical interfaces will be an

integral part of your daily responsibilities.

• Having a lead role on design of mechanical, structural, and dynamic components using CAD and FEM, focusing on stress, shock,

and random vibration analyses.

• Define and design test specifications, procedures, and setups for subsystem qualification (structures, mechanisms, units,

components, actuators).
