About this opportunityEnterprise IT is looking for a Director, Strategy and Transformation to turn its most urgent, complex and enterprise-wide priorities into results. The role combines strategic advice, special-project leadership, executive problem-solving and hands-on delivery, and is suited to assignments that are ambiguous, cross-organisational, time-critical or without a clear organisational home.Reporting to the Head of PA Technology Foundation, you will clarify complex issues, bring the right stakeholders together and drive assignments through to resolution, recovery, acceleration or measurable business outcomes.

What you will do

• Act as a rapid-response advisor for complex, ambiguous or urgent enterprise situations.
• Structure issues, clarify root causes and turn strategic intent into executable actions.
• Lead CIO-sponsored initiatives, special projects and cross-organisational transformations from mobilisation to delivery.
• Engage senior stakeholders across business areas, Enterprise IT, architecture, sourcing, finance, risk, legal and the wider technology ecosystem.
• Recover or accelerate critical programmes through fact-based plans, clear ownership and executive follow-through.
• Help resolve executive deadlocks and build coalitions where escalation alone is not enough.
• Lead enterprise responses to audit findings, control gaps and other governance matters.
• Address critical supplier and partner challenges across sourcing, commercial, delivery and relationships.
• Act as a strategic interface between Enterprise IT and Ericsson's business and technology ecosystem.
• Provide concise executive briefings that make decisions, risks, trade-offs and next steps clear.

You will bring

• Extensive experience in enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation or large-scale business transformation.
• A proven ability to advise CIOs and senior executives and turn strategic priorities into practical execution.
• Strong executive problem-solving skills, including issue structuring, analysis and decision facilitation.
• Experience leading complex, cross-organisational initiatives with limited formal authority.
• Experience in programme recovery, transformation acceleration, strategic sourcing or major commercial engagements.
• A sound understanding of enterprise technology domains such as cloud, AI, cybersecurity, data and enterprise platforms.
• The ability to navigate governance, audit, risk and compliance while maintaining delivery momentum.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and coalition-building skills.
• Clear, influential executive communication that distils complexity into decisions and measurable outcomes.
• High personal ownership, discretion, integrity and resilience in high-pressure situations.
• A relevant university degree is required; an advanced degree or recognised strategy, transformation or programme leadership qualification is an advantage.
