About SoScale
At SoScale Media, we're on a mission to scale brands through high-performing content rooted in creativity, performance data, and
platform fluency. We blend bold ideas with a sharp performance mindset to deliver UGC and ad strategies that don't just look great
— they convert.
We produce content at real volume — hundreds of ads a month across Meta, TikTok, and Google, spanning video, UGC, and graphic
design — for 20+ active clients. That means you won't be working on a hypothetical brief; you'll be in the same pipeline as the
rest of the team, on real accounts with real spend behind them.
We're fast-growing, culture-driven, and relentlessly focused on results. Our values shape how we work:
Curiosity – We question everything and dig into why something worked, not just that it did. Extreme Ownership – We don't wait. We take initiative and own outcomes, end to end. Relationships – We move as a team, lead with empathy, and build trust that makes the work better. One Step Ahead – We anticipate shifts before they hit and act before we're asked to. About the Role
This is your way into the world of high-performing content editing.
As a Performance Video Editing Intern at SoScale, you'll work closely with creative strategists, editors, designers, and
performance marketers to create content built for TikTok, Meta, and other fast-moving social platforms.
You'll learn how editing impacts performance. From hooks and pacing to storytelling, retention, and conversion. You'll work with
real client content and gain hands-on experience inside one of Stockholm's most ambitious performance content agencies.
This role is perfect for someone who loves content and wants to become exceptionally good at editing modern short-form ads and
social content.
You won't just observe. You'll edit, create, test, and improve from day one.
What You'll Do
- Edit short-form content for TikTok, Meta, and paid social campaigns from raw footage to a client-ready, platform-adapted
deliverable
- Build timelines that are structured to perform: hook-first sequencing, pacing that fights drop-off, and cut rhythm that matches
how people actually scroll — not how a film gets watched
- Work hands-on with color grading in DaVinci Resolve — node-based correction, matching footage shot across different cameras,
lighting, and creators so a video feels like one continuous piece instead of stitched clips
- Cut and structure multiple hook/CTA variants off the same base timeline for A/B testing — a core part of how performance
content actually gets built here
Sync cuts to sound design and music beats, and use audio (not just visuals) to hold attention through a video - Handle subtitles, captions, and platform-specific formatting (aspect ratios, safe zones, text legibility) for each channel you
deliver to
- Learn how specific editing decisions — a cut half a second earlier, a different color temperature, a reordered proof point —
measurably move watch time and conversion
Take feedback directly on the timeline via Frame.io and turn revision rounds around fast without losing quality Iterate fast on real client footage based on both creative feedback and performance data - Keep project files, timelines, and exports organized to a standard clean enough that someone else on the team could open your
project and understand it
What You'll Learn
How to read a brief and translate it into an actual coverage and editing plan, not just start cutting The difference between an edit that looks polished and one that's built to convert — and how to spot which is which How to give and receive fast, specific creative feedback without ego getting in the way Real color grading fundamentals: white balance, skin tone matching, shot-to-shot consistency across mixed source footage How performance data (watch time, hook rate, CTR) should actually change what you do in the timeline next time How a small agency team stays in sync on 20+ live accounts without things falling through the cracks What We're Looking For
- Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, comfortable in the edit page and with basic node-based color correction; experience in
Premiere Pro or CapCut is a plus if you're ready to make the switch
You already think in timelines: you can explain why a cut happens where it happens, not just that it "feels right" Some grasp of color grading fundamentals Strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and what keeps attention in the first 3 seconds Basic comfort with audio — syncing to a beat, cleaning up levels, knowing when a track is fighting the voiceover You are curious why an edit worked, not just that it did Structured, proactive, and eager to improve fast — you'll be handling real deadlines, not practice ones Familiarity with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Higgsfield or similar is a plus Fluent in Swedish and English (written & spoken) Based in Stockholm (or can commute to the office in Stockholm) What Success Looks Like
You improve quickly in both editing skill and creative thinking You become faster, sharper, and more confident with every project You understand what makes content perform — not just look good — and can point to why in your own edits You contribute edits and ideas that make it into live campaigns You become someone the team trusts to help move projects forward without needing everything double-checked What We Offer
A potential seat at one of Swedens most ambitious performance content agencies Hybrid setup with a creative office in Kungsholmen, Stockholm Real hands-on experience with live client projects — not simulated briefs A fast-learning environment with ambitious and supportive teammates Direct mentorship and structured feedback throughout your internship The opportunity to grow into a future freelance or full-time role at SoScale A culture that genuinely cares about creativity, growth, and having fun while building great things
