Ready to take ownership of IT at SmartCella? Can you combine strategic thinking with hands-on expertise to solve challenges, shape

our IT direction and turn ideas into practical improvements?

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will take operational responsibility for our application portfolio, information security and use of technology. Working

closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will establish processes and routines, manage incidents and oversee

infrastructure to keep IT secure, reliable and cost-effective. The role combines broad ownership with practical problem-solving

and the opportunity to drive IT-related improvements across the business. Reports to the CFO.

Where you’ll make an impact

STRATEGY & SECURITY

Take ownership of SmartCella’s IT architecture, solutions and technical environments.
  • Develop and maintain our IT and information security strategy, roadmap, policies and guidelines to meet business needs, legal

standards and medical technology regulatory requirements.

Identify, assess and mitigate IT and information security risks.

OPERATIONS & PARTNERSHIPS

  • Manage day-to-day IT operations, including end-user support, incident management, technical support and maintenance of local

applications.

Manage supplier relationships at strategic, tactical and operational levels.
Act as the main contact for external parties on IT and information security matters.

BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT & BROADER OWNERSHIP

Advise the management team and wider business on IT matters, including new solutions, applications and platforms.
Lead IT-related business development projects and drive change.

What you bring

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • An academic degree and at least five years of experience in a similar role, combining strategic and operational

responsibilities within an international business.

Broad IT knowledge, including software lifecycle management, sourcing and implementation.
Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and technology developments.
Experience managing service agreements and procuring software and IT services.
Project management experience and familiarity with different project management methods.
Proven experience in IT operations or a similar role, including vendor management.
Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure components and hands-on experience in application and user support.
Fluency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

Additional experience we value: Experience in biotech or life sciences, in a listed company or in an IT role within a regulated

business is an advantage.

You are self-motivated, structured and analytical, with a collaborative, down-to-earth approach. You understand business needs,

identify opportunities for improvement and enjoy taking ownership of the IT function while rolling up your sleeves when needed.

You translate business needs into technical requirements and explain technical topics in clear, accessible language.
