Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It Some people organise events. You create moments people talk about long after they leave the room. As our Membership Events Intern, you’ll help shape the social side of our member spaces, bringing together inspiring talks, creative sessions, wellness moments and community experiences that people actually want to show up for. You’ll be part planner, part host, part ideas machine, working closely with the team to turn concepts into packed-out events and memorable experiences. One day you’ll be coordinating speakers and building buzz around an upcoming event, the next you’ll be rearranging chairs five minutes before doors open and loving every second of it. This is the kind of role where curiosity, creativity and people skills matter just as much as organisation. If you get energy from bringing people together and making spaces feel alive, this one’s got your name on it. What You’ll Do * Help plan and run community events, workshops and social programming * Coordinate with speakers, partners and guests to bring events to life * Manage event logistics including scheduling, setup, communications and app updates * Welcome attendees and help create a great atmosphere on event days * Gather feedback after events and spot ways to make the next one even better * Brainstorm fresh ideas that fit our community and culture * Jump in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly What You’ll Have * You are currently enrolled in Dutch educational institution (Mbo, Hbo, Uni) or any other European University * You are studying Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Sales or something similar * You bring positive energy and love connecting with people * You are organised and comfortable juggling multiple things at once * You have strong communication skills and feel confident reaching out to others * You enjoy teamwork but are equally happy taking initiative * You are fluent in Dutch and English. Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It: The Social Hub is on a mission to build and upkeep a thriving global community of change makers. We partner up with like-minded brands and organizations to build and activate different branches of our brand, and we engage members within and surrounding our hubs with creative experiences & events. We’re looking for a community, events, and membership intern to aid us in the Membership team. This role offers a grand opportunity to develop yourself, working with a wide range of global stakeholders, both internally and externally. You will help us streamline and support internal projects, keep a structured workflow and support the Regional Programming Manager. On a daily basis, you will work closely from The Support Hub to aid the Connectors (Event & Community Managers) of our hubs. You will join the team at our headquarters in Amsterdam for a period of 6-7 months, starting July 15th, 2026. What You’ll Do: * Connecting on-site Event, Community Managers and Regional Programming Managers by being the first point of contact for questions and event organisation requests * Attending community events and activations in TSH locations across The Netherlands, auditing the execution and providing bi-monthly insights to the Regional Programming Manager * Supporting the curation of the events strategy and ambassador programme * Supporting the Membership team by tracking deadlines, taking notes, conceptualizing monthly event reports and highlights * Researching market offerings and competitor propositions * Assisting with development, communication and refinement of a wide variety of projects related to events and memberships What You’ll Have: * You are enrolled in University or University of Applied Sciences (WO/HBO) as a student * You are fluent in English (written, and spoken); other European languages are a bonus * You are legally permitted to work and live in The Netherlands and available for a full-time internship and can work 40 hours/week * You can work from our Amsterdam based Support Hub and willing to travel to our locations within the Netherlands, this is an In Person role. * Some experience with Microsoft Suite and understanding of event management processes * You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to develop yourself in project management in an operational environment * You have true passion for hospitality, high problem-solving capabilities and enjoy working independently What We Offer: * The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company. What You'll Do * You will actively connect our semester, co-working, hotel and extended stay community * You will help with the set-up of ongoing program of events with and for our internal community * You, along with the Connector, are the eyes and ears of our community and will be the to go contact person in terms of events & community activations * You will build and maintain relations with partners to fill our annual calendar with on-trend/on-topic recurring events that appeal to our community * You will host and engage with our local student ambassadors on a regular basis * You will create/collect & deliver digital content based on the marketing briefings (formats include text, video and images) * You will own and manage the local TSH social channels and operate them within the brand guidelines * You will attend and be an essential part of local network events Who You Are * You’re currently enrolled in an EU school or university * You have an outgoing and confident personality. You kill it in front of an audience * You are the connector: you have a natural interest and love to be around and with people * You're professional & responsible enough to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic atmosphere * You’re super social, always flexible, incredibly motivated and never without a sense of humor * A visionary – you already have a couple of AMAZING ideas how to grow the company’s connector strategy * You're super communicative and have a great entrepreneurial spirit * You're extremely calm under pressure * You're exceptionally organized * You’re fluent English.
