Master thesis overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented master’s student to join our team for a thesis project mainly focused on exploring and evaluating new solid supports for oligonucleotide synthesis. The overall aim is to synthesize and identify robust solid-support solutions and optimized process conditions. What We Offer Hands-on experience in a cutting-edge research environment. What you’ll do
This position has a strong focus on organic chemistry work in lab scale and hence the person suited for this opening should enjoy working in a chemistry lab Analyze and map current oligosynthesis workflows (e.g., solid-phase synthesis, purification, and analysis). Generate new solid-phase lead candidates for various oligonucleotide synthesis applications Design and execute experiments to optimize reaction conditions Apply statistical tools (e.g., DoE, multivariate analysis) for process optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams Document findings and present results in written and oral formats. English and Swedish as working languages Who you are Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Familiarity with tools such as oligo synthesizer (ÄKTA), HPLC, LC-MS, or UV spectroscopy is advantageous. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Join our winning team today.
