Microsoft 365 & Hybrid Infrastructure Specialist

Forn AB is looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 & Hybrid Infrastructure Specialist.

The role focuses on Microsoft 365, Exchange Hybrid, identity, enterprise infrastructure, and large-scale migration and transformation projects.

The contract is valid up to 24months unless extended or terminated earlier

You will work across the full technical lifecycle, from assessment and solution design to migration planning, implementation, cutover, validation, troubleshooting, and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure solutions
• Develop target-state technical designs and migration solutions
• Design Exchange Hybrid solutions between on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online
• Plan and execute Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations
• Design and implement hybrid identity and authentication solutions
• Work with Entra ID, Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect, and ADFS
• Define and troubleshoot mail flow, connectors, certificates, Autodiscover, and free/busy configurations
• Plan and support mailbox, PST, and Enterprise Vault migrations
• Develop solutions for Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 Groups
• Assess Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, authentication, and directory dependencies
• Perform Active Directory health checks, object recovery, and identity troubleshooting
• Define pre-stage, cutover, rollback, and post-migration validation strategies
• Ensure technical readiness and business continuity during major infrastructure changes
• Coordinate technical activities across engineering teams, vendors, service desk teams, and service management
• Participate in CAB and technical governance activities
• Ensure structured transition and handover from project delivery to operations

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within Microsoft infrastructure, Microsoft 365, or a comparable enterprise technology environment
• Experience with solution design and complex infrastructure environments
• Experience with large-scale Microsoft 365 and/or Exchange migrations
• Experience working in complex enterprise IT environments
• Experience with hybrid identity and hybrid infrastructure
• Experience with technical governance and Change Management
• Ability to lead technical activities from design through implementation and operational handover
• Strong troubleshooting and technical coordination capabilities
• Experience working with multiple technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders

Experience with large migration environments involving several thousand users, mailboxes, or endpoints is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent relevant education and professional experience.
