TrueLayer’s Finance team is responsible for designing and implementing our financial strategy, cost and debt control, reporting
and analysis of KPIs, product pricing models, strategic deal negotiations, accounting and tax reporting. As we head into a period
of notable scaling up across new markets and geographies, the Finance function will be a central part of this strategy.We are
growing rapidly and are looking to expand our Financial Operations team as we do.
In this role, you will support our bookkeeping and financial administration processes, working closely with the broader team to
support the day-to-day running of the business. You will be vital to ensuring our financial information is up-to-date and
relevant. You will be part of the team that is building a scalable finance function and processes to support the company’s rapid
growth plans. You’ll be part of a fast-growing team with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

AS A FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST, YOU WILL: * Record financial transactions and reconcile all corporate bank accounts in NetSuite; maintain the main group reconciliation sheet, ensuring accuracy and timely completion each month * Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including supplier payments and invoice management; coordinate supplier financial information requests * Support credit control processes and follow up on outstanding receivables to optimise debt management * Process and review employee expense (T&E) submissions, ensuring adherence to company policy and correct cost centre allocation * Support the Financial Accountant on audit preparation and the Annual Report cycle, including collating transaction-level supporting documentation and preparing schedules for external review ABOUT YOU * Proficient in the use of English Language to C1 level * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field * Demonstrable experience in financial reporting or related roles (or similar) qualification, or work experience to an equivalent level * Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience * AP, AR and experience double entry principle would be a preferred skill * Good Google Sheet /Excel skills * Great organisational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work without supervision, problem solve, and have a solutions-focused mindset * Lean in to support the outcomes for the team and the wider business * Ability to prioritise workload depending on business requirements * Experience working with NetSuite (or a similar package) We would be particularly excited if you have: * Startup or SME experience BENEFITS What you can expect from us: * a competitive salary💰 * Benefits that align with local regulations At TrueLayer, we don’t just do inclusion and diversity. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and strengthen the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of our Polish entity. Responsibilities:- Maintaining full statutory accounting records in accordance with Polish accounting and tax regulations; - Performing month-end and year-end closing; - Preparing bank transfers, as well as recording and reconciling bank transactions, including foreign currency operations; - Preparing and submitting tax declarations (VAT, CIT, JPK, and others, excluding PIT) and monitoring statutory deadlines; - Recording and reconciling payroll entries for approximately 50 employees; - Preparing and posting sales invoices and allocating costs to projects; - Preparing periodic reports for external institutions (GUS, NBP) and statutory financial statements, under the supervision of the Chief Accountant; - Cooperating with auditors and public authorities during audits and inspections; - Verifying the accuracy and completeness of accounting documents; - Supervising the posting of expense invoices and providing guidance to a junior accountant. Requirements:- At least 3 years of experience in full-scope accounting for a limited liability company (Sp. z o.o.) and/or in an accounting firm in an independent accounting role; - Knowledge of the Enova365 accounting system; - Very good knowledge of accounting and tax regulations; - A high level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail; - Communicative level of English. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, diligent and detail-oriented GL Accountant with strong understanding of local (UK) and US GAAP, and financial reporting standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and supporting statutory and audit requirements across multiple entities in one country. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in Warsaw and requires full-time on-site presence (5 days per week in the office).
