We’re looking for a highly experienced visual storyteller to craft art direction and to concept industry-leading creative across our global campaigns. As Senior Lead Art Director - Running, you’ll work closely with Creative Directors and Copywriters to deliver impactful concepts and stories across channels. The ideal candidate is an expert conceptual thinker and visual artist with a deep understanding of channel best practices and leadership experience. You strive for creative excellence in every brief, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enter the creative process with foresight, identifying potential issues before they arise. You have a love of craft, and immerse yourself in global subcultures. You confidently navigate the creative journey from beginning to end: from strategic foundations, moving through significant conceptual development and production, and culminating in the final rollout. The Senior Lead Art Director - Running will report to the Head of Creative - Running in the Creative Studio. Your Mission * Partner with Copywriters to concept and execute innovative campaigns across all channels, bringing big ideas to life from briefs big and small. * Confidently and articulately present creative ideas based on strategy and insights. * Deliver concepts, films, OOH, digital and 360 campaigns with obsessive craft on ambitious timelines. * Uphold and evolve On's distinctive visual identity, ensuring it remains fearless and unconventional. * Lead creative in the Run category to success, fostering a sense of bravery and dedication within your team, ensuring they are motivated, inspired, and consistently delivering bold, original and inventive concepts and distinctive visual languages for campaigns and projects. * Manage multiple high-priority campaigns simultaneously, making sound creative decisions independently in a fast-paced environment. * Exemplify leadership in creative, championing the On Spirits, and actively contributing to company culture and events. Your story * A dynamic, experienced art director with 6+ years of experience as a creative championing big ideas on global advertising and/or marketing campaigns, brand side or at an agency. * A passionate visual storyteller with a portfolio spanning film, digital/social, OOH, and disruptive activations. * Deep understanding of global digital user journeys and how to leverage touchpoints to drive meaningful action. * Experience challenging the status quo and navigating complex stakeholder environments to deliver creative and commercial results. * Comfortable leading high-impact initiatives that significantly influence the business and brand trajectory. * You know how to lead and inspire within your team, identify underlying issues and root causes, and seek solutions to problems. * You have a deep love for, and experience in, culture, fashion, and performance sports. You will manage and scale a team of Engagement Managers across Europe, the Middle East, US, and future regions, and define how Harmattan AI engages with customers—from technical demonstrations to full deployment and long-term partnerships. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Field Operations, and directly impacts our ability to win tenders, deploy systems successfully, and build a scalable partner ecosystem. RESPONSIBILITIES LEADERSHIP & TEAM BUILDING * Build, manage, and scale a global team of Engagement Managers across regions * Define team structure, hiring plan, and capability development * Establish clear performance standards, KPIs, and operating cadence ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY * Define and own the global engagement strategy across all markets * Ensure consistency and excellence in customer interactions, demonstrations, and deployments * Partner with Sales leadership on strategic deals, key accounts, and major tenders OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE * Standardize and elevate: * Demonstration frameworks and demo kits * Deployment and field operation processes * Customer engagement playbooks * Ensure high level of execution quality and repeatability across regions PRODUCT & FEEDBACK LOOP * Establish structured processes to capture field insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence * Translate field learnings into actionable inputs for Product and Engineering * Ensure tight alignment between market needs and product roadmap CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ALIGNMENT * Act as the central interface between Sales, Marketing, R&D and Product * Ensure seamless coordination across teams for customer delivery and deployment success CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS * Significant experience in Sales Engineering, Program Management, Field Operations, or similar roles in UAV, defense, robotics, or complex systems environments * Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in technical, customer-facing contexts * Strong experience with technical sales cycles, deployments, and OEM/partner integrations * Ability to operate at both: * Strategic level (defining frameworks, scaling functions) * Operational level (supporting critical deals, deployments, and escalations) * Strong system-level understanding of integrated hardware + software products * Complex Project Management: Avid learner with a demonstrated capacity to handle large-scale, complex projects – offering innovative solutions and leading teams to deliver outstanding results. * Adaptability & Mobility: Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; embraces a “no-task-is-too-small” mentality. * Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives. * Commitment: 100% dedication to Harmattan AI’s mission, vision, and ambitious growth plans, ready to go the extra mile to ensure operational excellence. * UAV pilot license strongly preferred * High willingness to travel (significant field presence required) We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
