ABOUT THE TEAM The Global Partner Engineering and Operations (PE&O) team is part of Stripe’s Global Partnerships organization and is responsible for managing the technical and operational aspects of new and existing product partnerships and programs. Positioned at the intersection of product, engineering, and partnerships, we focus on technical operational execution and optimization with financial ecosystem partners. We drive smooth technical onboarding and implementation with financial partners, we manage the ongoing engagement between Stripe and its partners, and we monitor and optimize stringent quality and performance targets. Our team also drives partner-agnostic programs and initiatives to address broad ecosystem challenges and builds technical solutions and tools that enhance operational efficiency and scalability. WHAT YOU’LL DO We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Technical Partner Manager to join our Global Partner Engineering & Operations (PE&O) Network partnerships team at Stripe. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our partners, facilitating technical integrations and launching new capabilities with new and existing partners, and ensuring the optimal performance of our solutions with financial partners. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and account management experience, with a focus on driving partner success. RESPONSIBILITIES * Partner Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key financial ecosystem partners, serving as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and operational support. * Technical Integration: Collaborate closely with partners to define and implement successful integrations, ensuring all technical requirements are met and projects are delivered on time. * Performance Tracking: Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance standards for partner accounts, leveraging metrics and data analysis to monitor and improve partner health and satisfaction. Regularly drive technical reviews to improve partner performance. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across multiple Stripe teams—including Engineering, Product, and Partner Development—to support and drive process enhancements and technical solutions that benefit partners. * Incident Management: Assist in incident resolution by coordinating with internal teams to manage partner communications effectively and resolve issues efficiently. * Operational Efficiencies: Identify inefficiencies within Stripe’s operating model, proposing and driving effective solutions (including both technical and operational requirements) to address them. * Training and Support: Provide ongoing training, documentation and support to partners, helping them leverage Stripe’s technology and products effectively. * Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from partners to inform improvements in internal processes and product functionalities, ensuring customer needs are addressed within the organization WHO YOU ARE We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner management, technical project management, or business operations, especially managing external partnerships. * Proven ability to drive medium to large-sized technical projects in collaboration with external partners and cross-functional internal stakeholders. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data to enhance decision-making. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders. * Willingness to travel (30%) as partner needs require, and occasional off hours /rotational coverage for incidents. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience in banking, e-commerce, or payments; with knowledge of payment technologies and ecosystems is preferred.. * Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL and XML is preferred. * Experience working in a SaaS or cloud-based technology environment. * Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.

ABOUT THE TEAM The Financial Partnerships team sits within the Global Partnerships organization and is a key component of our success. Our team is responsible for developing and managing relationships with the global and regional banks that enable the Stripe product strategy and deliver new capabilities to Stripe users. Our team executes on high-impact, cross-functional product partnership initiatives across existing products and early-stage "up the stack" financial products. These partnerships have a significant impact on Stripe and are essential for us to offer products used by millions of our users. WHAT YOU'LL DO We're looking for a Partner Development Manager to join the Financial Partnerships team. You'll be responsible for developing and executing the multi-year, global strategies for building our relationships across many of our most important banking partners. You'll focus on designing, scaling, and continuously improving mechanisms to deepen relationships with our partners, as well as highly impactful programs key to differentiating Stripe. As part of these efforts, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Risk, etc.), and with the banking partners' executive teams. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage and develop partners, think strategically and apply diagnostic thinking to business, product, and technical challenges, and earn trust with and influence others. A high-agency attitude, the ability to raise expectations in changing environments, and a drive to create impact through ownership are all important in this role. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop the go-to-partner strategy and execute on our most ambitious company-bending, bank-network-driven projects that are global and cross-border in nature * Own the banking partner plans, the overall economics, day-to-day operational excellence, and be responsible for driving the partnerships to successful outcomes for Stripe * Leverage banking, treasury, and payments industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnership and product strategies with transaction banks, lenders, capital markets, central banks, and schemes * Navigate, in partnership with Product, to execute deals supporting that strategy and help ensure a proper execution plan is in place * Leverage significant industry experience to educate and help internal teams compose our holistic bank-led strategy and to advance that strategy with banking partners WHO YOU ARE We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 7+ years of financial services experience, including directly working at banking institutions in cash management, FIG, or payments, and experience in partner management or business development working with banking institutions in PSPs or fintechs enabling pay-in and pay-out, store value, and embedded lending * Advanced knowledge of the banking and clearing landscape across multiple geographies with specific focus on transaction banking, e-money, safeguarding, multi-currency, and cross-border payments * Demonstrated experience building proprietary global collection and payout networks * A proven track record of working in a product-centric environment with significant internal and external dependencies across product, engineering, legal, sales, risk, and compliance * Broad and deep experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go-to-market models
