Öron- näsa- hals och käkkirurgisk avdelning är en del av Neuro-huvud-hals Centrum (NHHC). Vi vårdar patienter med sjukdomar eller skador inom öron-näsa-hals och käk området. Välkommen till en viktig kirurgisk specialitet som vårdar patienter utifrån både medicinskt och kirurgiskt perspektiv och erbjuder både planerad och akut vård, sjudygnsvård. Vi vårdar patienter i blandade åldrar från 18 år och uppåt på vår vårdavdelning och här möter du bland annat svåra halsinfektioner, alternativa luftvägar, trasiga trumhinnor, ansiktsfrakturer och komplex tumörkirurgi. Detta ger dig en variation i din profession. Öron- näsa- hals dagkirurgisk avdelning (DKA) är en liten enhet inom Öron- näsa- hals avdelningen där vi måndag-fredag har öppet för både barn och vuxna patienter med 7st DKA-platser. På DKA tar vi emot patienter från olika delar av NHHC. Öron-näs-hals avdelning är en liten trivsam avdelning med högt i tak. Vi har fem vårdplatser och lägger stort fokus på egenvården hos våra patienter. Vi är en liten sammansvetsad personalgrupp som består av ett multidisciplinärt team med läkare, sjuksköterskor, undersköterskor med tillgång till daglig kontakt med dietist, logoped och fysioterapeut. ARBETSUPPGIFTER Som Sjuksköterska hos oss bidrar du till att ta väl hand om andra och få människor att må bättre. Du kommer att arbeta med människor i behov av avancerad vård och omsorg inom området Öron- näsa- hals och Käkkirurgi. Du är huvudsakligen placerad på vår vårdavdelning men om behov finns efter inskolning även jobba på DKA. Som sjuksköterska på vårdavdelningen deltar du i vården av patienter och leder omvårdnadsarbetet. Det innebär både pre- och postoperativ vård, hantering av trakealkanyl, alternativa luftvägar och vård efter komplicerad tumörkirurgi i huvud-hals-området samt våra akuta patienter. Många av våra patienter har även nutritionssonder, centrala infarter och sårdränage. Du får också vara med och assistera våra läkare på olika undersökningar. På vår avdelning använder vi NEWS2 för att identifiera svikt i vitala funktioner hos patienterna och åtgärder därefter. Då våra patienter ofta är uppegående och klarar sin ADL självständigt är arbetet oftast inte fysiskt påfrestande. Dina arbetsuppgifter på DKA, fokuserar på pre- och postoperativ vård, men kommer att variera då våra patienter kommer från många olika specialiteter inom vårt centrum, med bland annat kortare kirurgiska ingrepp som halsmandelsoperationer hörselförbättrande operationer, bihålekirurgi, röntgenundersökningar och hörselmätningar i sedering. Här vårdar vi barn i alla åldrar och vuxna patienter. KVALIFIKATIONER Vi söker dig som är legitimerad sjuksköterska. The work will focus on emergency care and urgent cases. Emergency care work is performed independently while working within a multidisciplinary team.
