Kliniska Studier Sverige - Forum Söder är en unik regional stödfunktion med uppdrag att stödja och främja klinisk forskning i Södra sjukvårdsregionen. Forum Söder har också uppdraget att verka som regional nod för södra sjukvårdsregionen inom ramen för den nationella samverkan Kliniska Studier Sverige, som stöds av Vetenskapsrådet. ARBETSUPPGIFTER Som EU-rådgivare är du Grants Office expertresurs för EU:s ramprogram (Horisont Europa, EU4Health, IMI/IHI) och relaterade europeiska program som är relevanta för finansiering av Region Skånes kliniska forskning. Du stöttar kliniska forskargrupper från den allra tidigaste idéfasen, i konsortiebyggandet, med utlysningsmatchning fram till inlämnad ansökan och, vid beviljande, uppstarten av projektet. Du arbetar proaktivt genom att bevaka kommande utlysningar, bygger nätverk med potentiella konsortiepartners och identifierar forskargrupper inom Region Skåne som har potential att ta koordinator-rollen i EU-projekt. Ungefär 20 procent av din arbetstid är avsedd för utåtriktat nätverks- och konsortieutvecklingsarbete. Dina arbetsuppgifter innefattar att: • bevaka och tolka kommande utlysningar inom relevanta utlysningar, exempelvis Horisont Europa Kluster 1 (Hälsa), Missions, EU4Health och IMI/IHI och kommande ramprogram (FP10) • ge individuellt rådgivningsstöd till forskargrupper i val av utlysning, konsortiepartners och ansökningsstrategi • aktivt stödja partnersök genom att identifiera relevanta europeiska partners och positionera Region Skåne i pågående konsortieprocesser samt delta i match-making evenemang • granska och ge återkoppling på ansökningstexters vetenskapliga stringens, logik och anpassning till finansiärens bedömningskriterier • samarbeta med kollegor under ansökningsprocessen för koordinering av ansökan och budgetplanering • delta i och representera Region Skåne vid europeiska nätverksmöten, informationsdagar och partnerträffar • stödja post-grant-uppstarten för beviljade EU-projekt, specifikt med administration av konsortie- och projektavtal, kick-off-förberedelser • utbilda forskargrupper och internt team om EU-programmens struktur, logik och krav • bygga och underhålla kontakter med Region Skånes utvecklingsenhet, EU-kontor samt Lärosäten Syds Brysselkontor. KVALIFIKATIONER Vi söker dig som har: • universitets-/högskoleutbildning inom livsvetenskaper såsom medicin, hälsovetenskap, farmaceutisk vetenskap eller naturvetenskap alternativt annan motsvarande utbildning som vi ser som relevant för tjänsten • erfarenhet av arbete med EU-finansierade projekt, företrädesvis Horisont Europa/ Horisont 2020 • mycket god förståelse för EU:s projektlogik och budgetmodeller • erfarenhet av arbete i EU Funding & Tenders Portal • mycket god förmåga att skriva och ge feedback på vetenskapliga och tekniska texter på engelska av hög kvalitet • erfarenhet av att arbeta med flera parallella projekt, slutföra och leverera dina uppgifter i enlighet med angivna deadlines. Det är meriterande om du har: • erfarenhet som projektkoordinator eller ledare för ett arbetspaket i ett Horizon-projekt • etablerade och aktiva relationer med National Contact Points för EU:s forskningsprogram • doktorsexamen eller erfarenhet som klinisk eller medicinsk forskare • kunskaper om klinisk forskningsmiljö, tillståndskrav och GCP-regelverket • etablerade kontakter i europeiska kliniska forskningsnätverk (ECRIN, EATRIS, ERN mm) • erfarenhet av partnersök via CORDIS, Horisont Results Platform eller liknande verktyg • erfarenhet av finansieringsinstrument från utländska finansiärer, såsom amerikanska myndigheter (exempelvis NIH och DoD). Forskarens behov står i centrum för ditt arbete, och genom ett genuint servicefokus samt god kommunikativ förmåga skapar du förtroende genom hela ansökningsprocessen. Komplexa utlysningstexter ser du inte som hinder utan som möjligheter, och du har lätt för att omsätta dem till konkreta råd och strategier som engagerar och inspirerar kliniska forskare. Att bygga och utveckla relationer faller sig naturligt för dig. Med ett proaktivt arbetssätt trivs du i en europeisk kontext med många externa kontaktytor och samarbeten. Du uppskattar lagarbete, samtidigt som du självständigt driver ditt arbete framåt utifrån överenskomna mål och strategier. ARBETSUPPGIFTER Som projektekonom ansvarar du för den finansiella dimensionen av Grants Office arbete; från budgetplanering inför ansökan till grundläggande ekonomisk uppföljning och rapportering i beviljade EU-projekt. Du är en nyckelresurs i pre-grant-fasen: forskargrupper utan budgetvana behöver kvalificerat stöd för att sätta upp realistiska, regelkonforma budgetar som håller hela vägen till slutrapporten. Du har god förståelse för EU-programmens finansiella regler och kan översätta dem till praktisk vägledning för kliniska forskare. Dina arbetsuppgifter innefattar att: • konstruera och granska projektbudgetar inför ansökningar till olika finansiärer som VR, Forte, EU och stiftelser • vägleda forskargrupper kring nationella finansiärers kostnadsregler och stödberättigade kostnader • bistå med kunskap kring EU:s budgetmodeller och finansiella projektvillkor • stödja post-grant-fasen för beviljade EU-projekt: budgetstruktur i EU Funding & Tenders Portal, tidrapporteringssystem och kostnadsuppföljningar • förbereda och sammanställa underlag för ekonomisk projektrapportering inför inskickande och vara huvudkontakt för ekonomisk granskning genom tredje part • samverka med ekonomiansvariga på förvaltningar och avdelningar för korrekt kostnadsallokering och internfakturering • bevaka förändringar i finansiärers finansiella regelverk • utbilda forskargrupper i grundläggande budgetprinciper för extern finansiering. KVALIFIKATIONER Vi söker dig som har: • högskole- eller universitetsutbildning inom ekonomi, redovisning, offentlig förvaltning eller liknande • minst tre års erfarenhet av ekonomiarbete i offentlig sektor eller akademisk miljö eller motsvarande erfarenhet arbetsgivaren bedömer likvärdig • god förståelse för projektbaserad ekonomi och extern finansiering • förmåga att kommunicera finansiella krav och regler på ett begripligt sätt för icke-ekonomer • mycket goda språkkunskaper i svenska och engelska i såväl tal som skrift • god förmåga att arbeta i Excel och ekonomisystem. Det är meriterande om du har: • erfarenhet av ekonomisk administration av EU-finansierade projekt (Horizon, EU4Health eller liknande) • goda kunskaper om EU:s Grant Agreement och regelverket för ekonomi (Financial Regulation) • erfarenhet av budget- och uppföljningsarbete vid Region Skåne eller liknande offentlig organisation • kunskaper om Region Skånes ekonomisystem och interna redovisningsmodell • erfarenhet av Vetenskapsrådets eller Fortes budgetmodeller och krav på kostnadsspecificering. För att trivas i rollen behöver du vara service-minded och motiveras av att ge kvalificerat stöd till forskare och bidra till framgångsrika ansökningar. Arbetet kräver ett strukturerat arbetssätt, god analytisk förmåga och ett intresse för att tolka och tillämpa finansiärers regelverk. Projektbudgetar är en central del av forskningsansökningarnas kvalitet och genomförbarhet. Därför är det viktigt att kunna kombinera ekonomisk noggrannhet med ett pedagogiskt förhållningssätt som gör komplexa kostnadsregler begripliga och användbara för forskare. Rollen innebär många kontaktytor och periodvis högt arbetstempo, vilket ställer krav på god prioriteringsförmåga, självständighet och förmågan att hantera flera parallella processer samtidigt. Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre Third-cycle subject area: Forest management Description of the doctoral project:   Swedish society is debating the long-term capacity of even-aged conifer-dominated forestry to reliably produce biomass over the coming century, and simultaneously sustain the breadth of ecosystem services that society increasingly demands from forestlands. Alternative approaches to production forests, such as restoration of broadleaved forests are thus of growing interest. The increased use of such alternatives may enhance the overall resilience of Swedish forests to projected climate change, better balance the provision of forest ecosystem services, provide vital habitat for forest biodiversity, and thereby help ensure forest ecosystem services delivery over the coming century. The EU Nature restoration Regulation and Sweden's national environmental goals, provide official recognition of the urgent need to restore and improve the ecological condition of forest ecosystems across Europe. Our goal with this project is to identify cost-effective paths forward for the regeneration and restoration of new mixed broadleaved dominated forests. About the position: We intend to contrast passive versus active pathways for restoring such diverse forests. To address such issues, we will use existing experiments, chronosequences, and survey-data for evaluating the effects from restoration on ecosystem services and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of international researchers. We are looking for a person who, as part of a PhD, will address these challenges, but we welcome those who bring specific research interests which can shape the ultimate direction of the PhD. QuietWaters aims to address the reduction of underwater noise pollution from existing and future recreational crafts in the Baltic Sea.
