This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the intersection of financial infrastructure, developer-facing APIs, and end-user product experience, and it requires someone who can lead technically across a complex, fast-moving domain. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Define and drive the technical strategy for Issuing, including multi-year architecture decisions across backend services, APIs, and user-facing surfaces. * Own end-to-end technical solutions for critical systems, authorization flows, spending controls, cardholder management, and card program configuration, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and operationally sound. * Identify and lead infrastructure investments that unlock new issuing models, including geographic expansion, new card program types, and platform-level extensibility. * Collaborate closely with product managers, design, and cross-functional partners across Issuing, Authorization, Clearing and Settlement, and Balances to drive cross-cutting initiatives from design through launch. * Make principled build-vs-reuse decisions and produce clear technical roadmaps that balance near-term delivery with long-term platform health. * Advise engineering and product leadership on technical trade-offs and their downstream implications for the business. * Drive engineering standards, tooling improvements, and operational rigor across the team. * Mentor and grow senior engineers, investing in their technical development and helping build the next generation of technical leaders on the team. RESPONSIBILITIES * Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and large-scale systems that reliably and efficiently handle billions of money movement requests. * Debug and solve critical production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack. Mentor engineers to help them grow. * Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to build new features at large-scale, while improving internal engineering standards, tooling, and processes. * Collaborate effectively in a distributed and hybrid team, maintaining open communication and strong connections with colleagues. WHO YOU ARE We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 10+ years of industry software engineering experience, with demonstrated impact at a staff or equivalent scope (leading initiatives across multiple teams or systems). * Proven track record designing and shipping large-scale user-facing products with distributed backend systems that are both highly available and financially correct. * Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects end-to-end — from requirements through architecture, delivery, and post-launch iteration. * Strong API design instincts and the ability to build simple, developer-friendly interfaces over inherently complex financial and regulatory requirements. * Ability to influence technical direction and align multiple teams without direct authority, with excellent written and verbal communication across engineers, product, and leadership. * High ownership mindset—comfortable with ambiguity, able to define the problem and the plan, not just execute a predefined spec. * Clear, precise communication on complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience building or operating real-time transaction processing systems with strict latency and correctness requirements (authorizations, payments, ledgering, settlement). * Familiarity with card network protocols, BIN sponsorship models, or issuing bank integrations (Visa, Mastercard, or equivalent). * Experience in regulated financial services—compliance-aware system design, audit trails, financial controls, or KYC or KYB flows. * Background in embedded finance, card-as-a-service, or Banking-as-a-Service platforms. Experience with high-volume event-driven architectures and the reliability and consistency tradeoffs they introduce. * Track record of mentoring senior engineers and contributing meaningfully to engineering hiring and culture.

ABOUT THE ROLE Avarda runs a portfolio of core banking platforms, internally developed and licensed, that support consumer lending, credit cards, deposits and payments across multiple European markets. These platforms manage customer accounts, product configuration, financial processing, servicing workflows and integrations with the wider banking ecosystem. In this role, you will own the product agenda for the domain, including roadmap, priorities and requirements. You will work closely with engineering teams and platform vendors to evolve the bank's core banking capabilities, ensuring they meet business, operational and regulatory needs while supporting growth across products and markets. STRONG PLUS * Hands-on experience with Corniche (Megasol), Mambu, Temenos, Thought Machine, Finastra, TCS BaNCS, FIS or similar core banking platforms. * Experience with consumer lending, deposits, cards, BNPL or multi-product banking environments. * Experience working with vendor-operated platforms, including SLA management, acceptance testing and release governance. WHAT WE OFFER * Full product ownership of a strategically important Core Banking domain at the centre of the bank's operations and future growth. * Close collaboration with experienced IT teams and short decision paths. * A funded and active platform agenda including migrations, modernisation initiatives and expansion into new products and markets. * Competitive salary and benefits, with hybrid working.
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to own quality assurance for our Core Ledger platform. Our team does not develop the core ledger systems ourselves — they are built and delivered by external suppliers. Your role is to set the test strategy, verify and regression test what our suppliers deliver, and make sure nothing goes live unless it meets our requirements. Since the systems involved are financial, precision and thoroughness really matter — you will be the last line of defence before a delivery is approved. This is a newly established, hands-on position within a small team. In this initial phase, the role will not carry direct reports; instead, the focus will be on personally executing tests, developing the test strategy, and leading verification and regression testing efforts in close collaboration with the wider team. Key Responsibilities * Define and own the overall test strategy for the Core Ledger domain, covering functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing of supplier deliveries * Personally build and maintain test plans, test cases, and (where applicable) automated regression suites * Work with the Head of Core Ledger IT, Core Ledger Specialists, and Product Manager to embed quality from requirements through to delivery approval * Verify and regression test ledger transaction flows, balance calculations, and reconciliation logic delivered by suppliers * Drive a quality mindset across requirements writing, ensuring testability is considered from the start * Investigate and triage defects, coordinating resolution with suppliers and internal stakeholders * Define and track quality metrics; report on test coverage, defect trends, and delivery readiness * Participate in go/no-go decisions for supplier deliveries based on quality criteria * Support internal teams with questions about test results, known issues, and quality status * Contribute to risk assessments for major platform changes or new product introductions QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Desired Skills * 5+ years in QA roles, with experience leading test strategy and acceptance testing for complex systems * Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, Playwright or similar tooling) * Deep knowledge of testing methodologies — functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing * Experience verifying and accepting deliveries from external suppliers or vendors * Solid understanding of how to structure test plans and test cases against detailed requirements Nice to Have * Experience testing financial systems — ledgers, payment flows, reconciliation, or core banking * Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g. Gatling, k6, JMeter) * Experience working with vendor or supplier delivery models * Experience in a regulated financial or payments environment Behaviours * Quality champion — passionate about getting things right, not just fast * Detail-oriented and methodical, especially in high-stakes financial contexts * Strong communicator who can articulate quality risks to both technical and business audiences * Proactive and self-driven — able to identify gaps and take initiative to address them independently * Collaborative, working closely with a small team and external suppliers Education Bsc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. An ISTQB certification (or similar) is a plus. Languages Fluent English is required for this role. Fluent Swedish is not a hard requirement, but is desirable as Swedish is the language spoken locally in the team and will make day-to-day collaboration easier. WE OFFER * A key role in building and shaping a modern, cloud-native core ledger platform * A collaborative, cross-functional team environment with short decision paths * Competitive salary and benefits package * Flexible working arrangements with hybrid options * Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning * A chance to make a real impact in the fintech space across the Nordic market * Modern office in central Borås with a strong team culture
Coretura is a joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, building a software-defined vehicle platform for the next generation of commercial vehicles. As Product Manager, you'll own the Vision & Perception/ADAS domain of that platform — shaping what gets built and why, in close collaboration with the people who decide when, how, and on what technical foundation it's delivered. The domain you'll own An SDV platform is a set of deeply interdependent domains, each complex enough to need real product ownership — which is why each is owned end to end by a dedicated Product Manager. Yours is Vision & Perception / ADAS: the sensing, perception, and driver-assistance capabilities that let the vehicle understand its surroundings safely and reliably. You'll give OEMs the foundation to build best-in-class Level 2 and 3 ADAS — highway pilots, blind-spot detection, and more — with the reliability they need at the lowest possible cost. Priorities are still being discovered and requirements will shift, so decisions often have to be made with incomplete information. This role suits someone who brings structure to ambiguity rather than waiting for it to resolve. The value you create You'll give the Vision & Perception / ADAS domain a clear, coherent product direction, turning a set of technical capabilities into a roadmap with a genuine end-to-end view. Working closely with the Portfolio Manager, you'll help turn a complete platform picture into an executable plan — weighing technical opportunities against risk and business viability so the offering stays competitive in the market. And because the platform's domains are deeply interdependent, you'll surface cross-domain dependencies early and shape competing customer needs into one product that holds together. What it takes Solid Product Manager experience, with real ownership of a technical product domain Direct experience in one or more of the following: computer vision/perception, sensor fusion, ADAS/autonomous-driving systems, or functional safety (e.g. ISO 26262) and ADAS regulatory/type-approval requirements Strong business acumen — ability to connect product decisions to platform strategy and commercial outcomes, not just feature delivery Comfortable across levels, from strategic portfolio direction to hands-on execution, with the technical literacy to engage credibly in architecture-level trade-offs Structured, self-driven, and confident making good calls under incomplete information Why Coretura? Coretura is building the software backbone for the next generation of commercial vehicles. A joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, we're building a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platform that redefines how commercial vehicles are engineered, updated, and monetized — one platform robust enough to serve multiple OEMs, while giving each owner room to differentiate in their own markets. We're in active build mode: fast-moving, still shaping our own structures, and set on making software the center of gravity in trucking. Next steps Ready to build the future of commercial vehicles? Coretura is a joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, building a Software Defined Vehicle platform for the next generation of commercial vehicles. As Product Manager, you'll own the In-Vehicle Infotainment domain of that platform — the driver-facing experience — shaping what gets built and why, in close collaboration with the people who decide when, how, and on what technical foundation it's delivered. THE DOMAIN YOU'LL OWN An SDV platform is a set of deeply interdependent domains, each complex enough to need real product ownership — which is why each is owned end to end by a dedicated Product Manager. Yours is In-Vehicle Infotainment: the driver-facing experience. You'll track evolving expectations and anticipate customer requirements to make driving more comfortable, connected, and personalized, giving OEMs the platform to build cutting-edge HMI across three pillars — navigation, connectivity, and personalization. That spans everything from intuitive route guidance to seamless third-party app integration and driver-specific profiles. Priorities are still being discovered and requirements will shift, so decisions often have to be made with incomplete information. This role suits someone who brings structure to ambiguity rather than waiting for it to resolve. THE VALUE YOU CREATE You'll give the In-Vehicle Infotainment domain a clear, coherent product direction, turning a set of technical capabilities into a roadmap with a genuine end-to-end view. WHAT IT TAKES * Solid Product Manager experience, with real ownership of a technical product domain * Direct experience in one or more of: in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system architecture, third-party app integration, cloud-backend connectivity, UX/UI for the vehicle context, or embedded/consumer app platforms — plus a working knowledge of security and data-privacy requirements * Strong business acumen — able to connect product decisions to platform strategy and commercial outcomes, not just feature delivery * Comfortable across levels, from strategic portfolio direction to hands-on execution, with the technical literacy to engage credibly in architecture-level trade-offs * Structured, self-driven, and confident making good calls under incomplete information WHY CORETURA? Coretura is building the software backbone for the next generation of commercial vehicles. A joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, we're building a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platform that redefines how commercial vehicles are engineered, updated, and monetized — one platform robust enough to serve multiple OEMs, while giving each owner room to differentiate in their own markets. We're in active build mode: fast-moving, still shaping our own structures, and set on making software the center of gravity in trucking. Next steps Ready to build the future of commercial vehicles? Due to summer holidays, we will start reviewing applications in August. Last application date: 9th of August 2026 Questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out to Kristina Larsson at kristina.larsson@coretura.com if you have any questions regarding the position. Please note we do not accept any applications via email.
