Företaget Spotpilot AB är ett relativt nystartat företag och som drivs till 100% med egen finansiering. Vi har utvecklat en liten enhet som med hjälp av maskininlärning och optimering styr hembatterier / solcellsbatterier på ett smart sätt för att spara pengar åt kunden. Just nu är vi i full färd med att lägga in stöd för elbilsladdning. Vårat kontor är beläget i natursköna Hestra, Småland, precis intill skid- och MTB-anläggningen Isaberg. Vi är fyra anställda idag, där alla är kunniga på Rust. Tre av fyra jobbar i dagsläget på distans. Fokuset på vår produkt, Spotpilot SP-01 är – utöver smart kostnadsbesparande styrning av batteriet – till stor del att göra det så lätt som möjligt för installatör eller kund själv att installera enheten. Växelriktare och elbilar upptäcks automatiskt på nätverket och konfigurationen kan skötas även av relativt otekniska personer. Monteringen av enheten sker på plats i Hestra. Vi har som mål att anskaffa så mycket som möjligt av enhetens delar lokalt. Vårat mål är att byta ut Raspberry Pi och tilläggskortet mot en svensktillverkad PCB. Av prestanda- och säkerhetsskäl så driftar vi i princip alla kringsystem i egen regi och undviker i största möjliga mån att förlita oss på mjukvara utanför EU. Rollen På Spotpilot gillar vi att vara tillgängliga för kunden. Som supporttekniker så kommer du att hjälpa kunder som ringer eller mejlar in till oss med att lösa både lättare och svårare tekniska problem. Ofta ser vi att man behöver undersöka enheten på distans samt eventuellt kolla i källkoden för att förstå problemet. Vid lugnare perioder så hjälper du till med att fylla på i vår kunskapsdatabas samt utveckla vår egengjorda admin-plattform efter de behov du ser i din roll som supporttekniker. The work covers electric vehicle components and transmission systems, requiring collaboration with multiple technical teams. Scope: Creation of repair method descriptions for service personnel in truck workshops, covering motors, batteries for electric vehicles, and general transmission. About the role: Working as a technical writer for the “Workshop manual” product within an aftermarket organisation. The role involves producing clear and accurate repair method documentation in collaboration with technical writers, illustrators, and method engineers across several teams. Key Responsibilities: - Create descriptions of repair methods for workshop service personnel. - Cover topics including motors, batteries for electric vehicles, and general transmission. - Collaborate with a team of technical writers. - Work closely with illustrators and method engineers who produce the base repair methods. - Ensure the correct level of description and quality for the customer. - Understand and apply relevant technical terms and basic technical concepts. Requirements: - Background in technical communication or similar roles, with hands-on experience in producing technical instructions. - Fluency in English and technical Swedish, both written and spoken (essential requirement). - Ability to understand technical terms and basic technical aspects. - Ability to adapt content to the correct level of detail and quality for the end customer. - Strong focus on end-user needs and ability to translate them into clear instructions and visuals. - Experience working with technical documentation, ideally within industrial, electric vehicle or electrical systems environments. Preferred / Meriting: - Previous experience in large automotive organisations (aftermarket or R&D). - Experience working with structured authoring and documentation management systems (e.g. Arbortext or similar tools).
