Your role As a HIL Engineer, you will work at the forefront of software testing within verification and validation for leading automotive partners. In this role you will play a key role in: • Design, implement, optimize, and maintain HIL test environments, including both existing systems and the development of new HIL rigs • Lead technical decisions, define HIL architecture, drive best practices, and contribute to test strategy development • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and support customer interactions, technical discussions, and requirement clarification • Conduct verification and validation testing, including regression testing, while ensuring performance of software and hardware systems • Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, improve system reliability, and drive automation of test cases and HIL workflows Your profile • Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Software) or equivalent experience, with at least 7 years in HIL or SIL test environment development • Strong hands-on experience with HIL tools such as dSPACE, National Instruments, or Vector (CANoe, CANape, VTESTstudio), along with programming in Python, C++, C#, or CAPL • Solid knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS) as well as diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and requirements handling • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of design, maintenance, upgrades, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HIL systems, including CI/CD pipelines and version control • Experience working in vehicle environments, a valid European driving license, and good understanding of automotive safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262) is considered a plus What we believe you will enjoy about working here • Innovative projects shaping the future of mobility • Access to cutting-edge tools and technologies • A collaborative environment with continuous learning opportunities Application Selection and interviews are running continuously.
