ABOUT US Tebi is creating the first Connected Restaurant Management System that makes hospitality flow. In one seamless platform, Tebi embeds sales, reservations, kitchen prep, payments, and all the data that powers it, creating smooth service and intuitive insights. Founded by Arnout Schuijff, co-founder of Adyen, and backed by €50 million in funding from Index Ventures & CapitalG, Tebi is built in-service of hospitality first. Thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars, and coffee shops across the Netherlands, UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Denmark and Finland already love running on Tebi. About the Role You'll be the first person a merchant contacts when something's not working. This role sits at the center of Tebi's promise to hospitality: when a restaurant reaches out, you turn a stressful moment into a solved one. You'll own the resolution end-to-end, from first reply to final fix, and your fingerprints will be on every process we build to scale support without losing the personal touch. Your day-to-day will be full of merchant communication, investigation and problem solving as well as project work around knowledge base, new tools, AI automation and product updates. What You'll Do * Own the first response for every Tebi merchant who reaches out, across chat, email, and phone * Diagnose issues fast, using product knowledge and sharp instincts to identify the real problem * Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Ops to resolve complex problems * Hit and beat CSAT, QA, and speed targets in a high-pace environment * Turn what you learn from merchants into documentation, product feedback, and proactive education materials * Use and set up tools and AI-powered workflows to improve the way you do your work and expand it to company processes What You'll Bring * You are a creative problem solver who enjoys interacting with hospitality businesses * You are empathetic towards our merchants and curious about their business * Clear, warm communicator who can hold a merchant's confidence through chat, email, and phone * Curious about the product, want to be an expert in Tebi system and can apply your knowledge * Persistence — you don't let a ticket die in someone else's inbox * Comfortable with scheduled on-call time * Fluent in Dutch and English (Italian, Spanish, Danish, German or Finnish are a plus) If this speaks to you we can be the right fit. Learn more about how we work from our Recipe here: https://www.tebi.com/gb/careers. Benefits: * Start-up Equity * Competitive Salary * Flexible time off * Lunch in the office * Team events What is Restaurant Software? Restaurants and other merchants use various software systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Reservations, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), Payments, Inventory, Staffing, and the list goes on. These systems all need to speak to each other which they frequently don’t. It’s a mess, and we are fixing it. From buying a croissant at a cafe to having dinner with friends, it’s a €4 Trillion+ global market and a critical part of everyday life in today's economy. How we use AI at Tebi We use AI the way our merchants use Tebi, to cut out the friction and get to what matters faster. We believe in a world where AI increases quality, efficiency and speed. At Tebi, AI isn't a policy or a checkbox, it's just part of how we work. It helps us write, analyse, build, and improve but doesn’t make the last call. If there's a smarter way to do something, we want to find it.
ABOUT US About Nebul At Nebul, we’re building Europe’s sovereign AI cloud — trusted, secure, and purpose-built for the next generation of intelligent infrastructure. We’re looking for an Apache Spark Specialist to take a leading role in designing, deploying, and managing Nebul’s accelerated, fully-managed Spark proposition — enabling our customers to extract value from data at scale with top-tier performance and security. You will be responsible for architecting Spark environments optimized for GPU acceleration and distributed compute, ensuring seamless integration with Nebul’s sovereign cloud stack. This role combines deep technical ownership with solution innovation: from deploying high-performance clusters, to shaping the product experience and supporting early customer implementations. This is not a maintenance role — it is an opportunity to build and evolve a flagship data capability from the ground up. What You’ll Do * Architect, deploy, and operate scalable Apache Spark environments on Nebul’s sovereign AI cloud. * Design and optimize Spark workloads for GPU-accelerated and distributed performance. * Define and implement best practices for security, monitoring, governance, and data protection. * Partner closely with product, engineering, and customer teams to shape our managed Spark offering. * Evaluate and integrate complementary technologies (e.g., Delta Lake, Lakehouse components, tooling). * Support early customer pilots and translate feedback into roadmap improvements. * Develop automation and CI/CD deployment models to ensure reliability, repeatability, and efficiency. * Document architectures, operational procedures, and performance benchmarks. What We’re Looking For * 4–7 years of experience working with Apache Spark in production environments. * Strong deep-dive knowledge of Spark internals: performance tuning, partition strategies, caching, and shuffle management. * Hands-on deployment experience in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or on-prem clusters. * Solid understanding of distributed data platforms (e.g., Databricks, EMR, Hadoop, Lakehouse architectures). * Strong scripting and automation skills (Python / Scala preferred). * Ability to translate client needs into technical architectures and operational models. * Familiarity with cloud-security principles and infrastructure-as-code practices. Bonus Points * Experience with GPU acceleration for Spark, RAPIDS, or ML workloads. * Exposure to high-security or regulated environments (government, critical industry). * Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana) and orchestration (Airflow, Argo). * Contributions to open-source or performance engineering work. * Background in data engineering or MLOps. Why Nebul * Build a sovereign European alternative to hyperscalers — with real impact. * Lead the creation of a key product capability powering AI and data innovation. * Collaborate with world-class engineers across cloud, security, and high-performance compute. * Hybrid environment near The Hague and Amsterdam. * Competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and equity participation in a critical market. Requirements * Based in the Netherlands (commutable to Leiden). * Valid EU work permit (no sponsorship currently available). * Fluent in English (Dutch not required). Ready to build the future of accelerated data processing in Europe’s sovereign AI cloud? Apply now through Frank Poll and help Nebul deliver the fastest, most secure managed Spark platform in Europe.
