drivers of our growth. As we continue scaling internationally and investing more in brand-led growth, I’m looking for someone
great to come in and fully own this space. Someone who can take what’s already working, elevate it further, and help us create
even more meaningful experiences and impact through events.
That’s why I’m hiring an Event Manager.
I’m looking for someone who can fully own and professionalize our global events engine. Someone who is highly operational, loves
bringing order to moving pieces, and gets energy from making complex things run seamlessly. You’ll take ownership of our global
conference and event calendar end to end, from strategy and planning to execution and optimization, while working closely with
teams across Marketing, New Business, and Partner Success. Alongside that, you’ll support the marketing team with the operational
side of our monthly webinars, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is about much more than logistics. Conferences are one of our strongest lead drivers, so your work directly contributes
to pipeline growth, brand visibility, and business impact. You’ll help us make smarter decisions around which events we invest in,
how we show up, and how we create memorable experiences that actually move the needle.
You’ll have strong support from the wider team, especially around content, design, and growth campaigns, but this role comes with
real autonomy. We’re looking for someone who wants to make this function their own and shape how events contribute to

About the role Adyen is looking for a Global Event Marketing Manager, Operations & Enablement who will be the driving force behind the efficiency, scalability, and measurement of Adyen’s global event portfolio. This role focuses on centralizing processes, technology and reporting to maximize the productivity of our 22 local event managers and 350+ events and accurately prove event marketing ROI. What you’ll do * Design, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the entire event lifecycle (planning, registration, contracting, post-event lead flow) to drive consistency and efficiency. * Own, manage, and optimize the centralized event technology stack, including our event management platform (Cvent) and prebooked meeting platform (Jifflenow). * Ensure seamless integration between event technology tools and core business systems, specifically managing data flow into Marketo (marketing automation) and Salesforce (CRM) to guarantee data accuracy and sales enablement. * Lead the adoption and best practices for on-site lead capture tools, such as Icapture, ensuring regional teams adhere to standardized data collection protocols. * Be the primary point of contact between the Event Marketing Community and the Demo Tool team. Support the community with onboarding into demos, facilitate knowledge sharing between the event team and manage internal processes/collaborate with Supply chain to streamline event hardware supplies. * Manage key global operational vendor relationships (e.g., event tech providers) to ensure service quality and cost efficiency. * Maintain and automate our Global Event Measurement Framework and Dashboard to track essential KPIs, accurately calculate event ROI, and report on pipeline generation and campaign effectiveness to leadership. * Serve as the internal technical expert and trainer, leading enablement sessions for the 22 event marketing managers on new tools, processes, and reporting requirements. Who you are * 5+ years of experience in B2B Event Marketing. You have a proven track record of executing high-impact events and understand the end-to-end lifecycle of event management. * You have spent a significant portion of your career (at least 2-3 years) focused on Event Operations, Marketing Ops, or Enablement. You are ready to move away from individual execution to focus on global scalability and efficiency. * Deep, hands-on administrative expertise with major event management platforms. Experience with Cvent, Jifflenow, or iCapture is a plus. * A passion for documentation, process optimization, and creating scalable solutions for a large, decentralized team. * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at training and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (RevOps Tooling, RevOps Analytics, Finance, Legal, Marketing). * Exceptional analytical skills with a data-first mindset, capable of defining KPIs, building clear ROI models, and generating strategic insights from complex global data sets. * Knowledge of Marketo and Salesforce is a plus. * Fluent spoken and written English. BUILD OUR AI-ENABLED CONTENT OPERATING SYSTEM * Identify where AI, automation, and better process design can improve content quality, speed, and capacity. * Build repeatable workflows for research, briefing, drafting, repurposing, localisation, review, distribution, and performance analysis. * Create reusable prompts, templates, playbooks, quality checks, and structured knowledge sources. * Combine AI tools, automation, and human review in ways that protect accuracy, originality, brand consistency, and trust. * Evaluate new tools based on measurable business value. * Train teams to use the systems and track adoption. ENABLE TEAMS TO SELF-SERVE * Give Product Marketing, SEO, Demand Generation, and regional teams the workflows and tools they need to create product and mid-funnel content. * Define clear ownership, handoffs, and review requirements. * Build self-service toolkits for repeatable formats such as explainers, campaign assets, localisation, and executive social content. * Reduce reliance on the central content team without lowering quality. LEAD THE FUNCTION * Manage, coach, and develop a small team of content managers. * Set clear priorities, standards, and development goals. * Manage external writers, creators, agencies, and production partners where needed. * Build a content model that scales through systems, expertise, and enablement rather than headcount alone. REQUIREMENTS * 7–10 years of experience in B2B content marketing, editorial, brand publishing, or a related discipline. * Native-level English proficiency, with excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. * Experience leading a content team or function. * Experience in SaaS, fintech, enterprise technology, financial services, or another complex B2B category. * Experience creating content for senior business audiences. * Evidence of building repeatable content processes and operating models, not only individual assets. * Experience working across Brand, Product Marketing, SEO, Demand Generation, Sales, Web, Design, and regional teams. * Strong stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge low-value requests. AI AND AUTOMATION EXPERIENCE You should be able to show how you have used AI and automation to redesign a real content or marketing process. We are looking for: * Advanced practical experience using large language models. * Experience building repeatable, multi-step AI workflows. * Strong prompt, context, and knowledge-management skills. * Experience with no-code or low-code automation tools. * Understanding of human review, AI quality evaluation, and governance. * The ability to document workflows and train others to use them. * The ability to translate content needs into requirements for technical or systems teams. Experience with APIs, agentic workflows, retrieval systems, scripting, automated claims checking, or AI evaluation frameworks is useful, but not required.
