We are hiring a Bid Manager (US) to own how we win across the United States, one of the most competitive and strategically
critical defense markets.
You will lead bids end-to-end across DoW, and institutional clients, working directly with Sales, Product, and Engineering to
translate complex systems into clear, compelling proposals.

ABOUT THE ROLE You will be the primary driver of Talent Acquisition for our US operations: building pipelines, closing high-caliber candidates, and partnering closely with the Global Head of Talent in Paris to execute our local hiring strategy. This is a high-volume, high-bar recruiting mandate with real ownership and direct access to leadership. You may also provide support on HR topics as the US entity establishes itself. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead end-to-end recruiting across technical, operational, and support functions for the US entity * Build and own sourcing strategies tailored to the US talent market * Partner with hiring managers across our regions to define role requirements, calibrate on profiles, and move searches efficiently * Manage the full candidate lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offer structuring, and pre-boarding in Ashby (our ATS) * Drive high-volume hiring across technical and operational profiles while simultaneously running senior searches * Represent Harmattan AI as an employer of choice in the US — building brand awareness in the defense-tech and autonomous systems space * Maintain pipeline data and reporting for US headcount; surface risks and recommendations proactively to Paris * Support on HR topics, such as onboarding coordination or local compliance queries PROFILE REQUIREMENTS * 6+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, ideally within a fast-scaling tech, deep-tech, or industrial company * Proven track record running high-volume and senior searches simultaneously — you are comfortable across the full spectrum * Strong command of the US talent market and hiring landscape, with existing networks across engineering, defense, and technical talent pools * Hands-on with ATS platforms (Ashby experience a plus) and comfortable with HRIS systems * Intellectually rigorous and data-driven — you track pipeline metrics, flag risks early, and present clearly to leadership * Autonomous by nature: you move fast, make sound judgments with incomplete information, and escalate the right things We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a SOCOM Business Developer to drive growth within the U.S. Special Operations ecosystem. USSOCOM operates with rapid acquisition cycles and strong operator influence. This role is key to turning field engagement into funded programs and deployments. You will own opportunity capture, build relationships across SOF units and acquisition, and lead demos of Harmattan AI’s autonomous systems. RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development * Identify and pursue opportunities across SOF units, TSOCs, and SOCOM components * Build and manage a qualified pipeline * Convert demos and evaluations into OTAs and funded programs Sales & Engagement * Own the full sales cycle (operator → contract) * Run demos and operational evaluations * Translate field feedback into actionable insights Stakeholder Management * Build relationships across United States Special Operations Command and key acquisition stakeholders * Represent Harmattan at SOF events (e.g., SOF Week) * Align closely with internal R&D and product teams CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS * Experience: 3+ years in business development or defense sales within the U.S. market. * Background: Experience with SOCOM or strong exposure to SOF * Technical Understanding: Familiarity with defense technologies such as UAS, C-UAS, autonomy, or advanced sensors. * Sales Skills: Proven ability to navigate complex procurement environments and close multi-stakeholder deals. * Strategic Acumen: Strong understanding of Army procurement processes, OTA/IDIQ pathways, and DoD acquisition cycles. * Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to engage senior military and industry stakeholders with clarity and credibility. * Mindset: Highly proactive, mission-driven, and adaptable to fast-changing priorities. ABOUT THE ROLE Office Operations & Facilities Management * Establish and maintain office operating procedures and administrative processes. * Manage office supplies, equipment, vendors, and facilities-related requirements. * Coordinate office moves, workspace planning, and facility improvements as the organization grows. * Serve as the primary point of contact for office logistics and workplace issues. Executive Calendar & Meeting Management * Own recurring meeting schedules for executive leadership and key business functions. * Coordinate leadership meetings, staff meetings, and internal working groups. * Improve meeting cadence, agenda management, action-item tracking, and follow-up processes. * Optimize executive calendars to maximize productivity and minimize scheduling conflicts. Administrative Infrastructure * Develop scalable administrative systems, templates, trackers, and filing structures. * Support onboarding and offboarding activities for U.S.-based employees. * Assist with document management, records organization, and internal communications. * Establish repeatable processes that reduce administrative burden on leadership and staff. Travel & Event Coordination * Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for executives and employees. * Support planning and logistics for demonstrations, trade shows, customer visits, and company events. * Manage meeting logistics, conference room scheduling, visitor coordination, and hospitality requirements. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS * 5–7 years of experience in office administration, executive support, office management, or business operations. * Previous experience supporting senior leaders, executives, founders, or C-suite personnel. * Experience coordinating calendars, meetings, travel, events, and administrative processes. * Experience in a startup, technology, aerospace, defense, or similarly fast-paced environment preferred. * Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through. * Adaptable and calm under pressure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. * Strong communicator and collaborative team player.
