The Corporate Strategy team works directly with Agoda’s management team to provide business critical insights using analytics,
ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic initiatives forward. We stay focused on
aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and help evolve early-stage ideas into
high-impact opportunities.
The Opportunity
As a Project Team Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a large-scale transformation project. You’ll work closely with
project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution, clear communication, and timely delivery of project
milestones. This is a temporary position with possibility of an extension, ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience
in project management and corporate strategy. This role will mostly be remote although may require a few days of in-person working
sessions in the office.

The Opportunity: You will be focusing on information generation and strategy formulation at business level. You will get to work closely with senior executives across functions – such as product, supply, marketing, and finance – to set our strategy and drive key business initiatives. You will develop outstanding insights on our markets, competitors, and business trends and disseminate this knowledge across Agoda to inform key decisions. You help our leaders run Agoda skillfully, which includes clarifying accountability and identifying and monitoring critical success metrics. In this role, you will get to: * Conduct industry, and competitor data analysis to support the definition of priorities and key issues * Reporting, analysis, and insights: Building dashboards to track performance, derive insights, understand growth levers, and communicate recommendations via presentations to stakeholders * Create business cases for initiatives to be pursued across Agoda * Support in the articulation of country/ department/ strategy * Support ad-hoc projects, leading independent workstreams * Support Directors/ Associate Directors in the creation of material for the Board / Management team * Build SQL queries to gather data from multiple databases within Agoda/ work with the analytics team to gather the required information for the analysis What you will need to succeed: * Experience in data analysis from top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategy/business role for a fast-growing global tech company * Bachelor’s degree or higher from top university in a quantitative subject e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering business, science, or relevant field of study * Background working experiences in consultancy firm * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Knowledge of SQL / Tableau or willingness to invest time to learn * Ability to think strategically, learn fast and understand new business dynamics * Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English * Innate desire to take ownership, make an impact and influence outcomes It is great if you have: * Some knowledge of the key levers of the OTA industry * Strong presentation & negotiation skills This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand. This position is remote-friendly. ⚖️ OUR LEGAL TEAM The Legal team is at the heart of Joko’s growth and protection. We navigate the complexities of contracts, regulations, and risk management to ensure the company operates smoothly and seizes opportunities with confidence. We handle all legal matters: Contracts, Corporate, Labor, Data protection, IP etc… enabling other teams to innovate with confidence. Leveraging our expertise and external partners, we collaborate with all functions to protect Joko’s interests efficiently and proactively. 🎯 WHAT YOU WILL DO As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for a polyvalent, multi-skilled, and highly challenging scope of work. You will report directly to the Head of Legal. Your responsibilities: * Partner with the Head of Legal, ensuring the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations, in France as well as in other countries, Joko may be made available in the future. * Take any relevant action to prevent the company from litigation. Collaborate with the Head of Legal if any litigation eventually comes out. * Be the go-to person when it comes to drafting or reviewing contracts for all aspects of Joko’s activity: employees, freelancers, merchant partners, suppliers, terms and conditions, etc.; * In coordination with the Head of Legal, our DPO and our Product team, take our GDPR compliance to the next level, implementing privacy by design and improving our current processes (data treatment register, privacy policy, IT security routines…) * Ensure thorough oversight of all aspects of corporate law events, including BSPCE allocations and exercises, general shareholders’ assemblies, board meetings, and cap table management; * Along with our Head of Legal and external advisor, make sure we have strong IP management procedures, including follow-up on domain names, trademarks, and competitive intelligence; * Support the Head of Legal in coordinating the legal aspect of the international expansion of the company, especially in the US, where Joko is already available. 👀 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Education: You have a Master's degree from a Tier 1 law university with a specialization in private law. Having passed the bar is a plus. * Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience but ideally 5 as a lawyer, including experience in a top law firm. * You possess knowledge and experience either in negotiating contracts, GDPR and personal data management or Corporate lawy. Additionally, you are adept at preventing and handling legal litigations of any kind. * Languages: You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken, as we are expanding internationally. * Communication: You have excellent analytical and synthesis skills, and you know how to explain complex topics in a simple way.
