We are here to turn AI into working systems, measurable outcomes and repeatable transformation programs.    ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently looking for a Senior/Lead Intelligent Automation Engineer - Power Platform/Azure to join our Delivery Team in Barcelona, Spain. The Intelligent Automation Engineer will be a key member of our Delivery Team, with a specific focus on leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to create innovative solutions for our clients. As an Intelligent Automation Engineer, you will lead workflow ideation and delivery that streamline business processes, increase efficiency, and enable digital transformation across a wide array of industries.  RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure services such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.  * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and establish best practices.  * Engineer cloud-native workflows and integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid, and Azure Service Bus * Define best practices, development standards, governance models, ALM pipelines, and security frameworks for Power Platform and Azure solutions * Support presales efforts including solution design, technical assessments, client demos, and effort estimation * Mentor developers, architects, and analysts to grow internal capabilities across the Microsoft ecosystem. * Lead delivery across the full lifecycle of projects, from conception and design through to development, testing, deployment, and support.  * Support workshops and training sessions for internal teams and clients to ensure effective adoption of automation solutions.  * Support and guide the delivery team in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to automation solutions.  * Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features within the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure ecosystem and evaluate their applicability to current or future automation projects.  * Ensure and maintain regular close client contact  * Join and lead weekly project update meeting on the status of the technical implementation of the automation(s)  * Actively implement best practices  * Communicate and manage requirements with the clients service department  REQUIREMENTS * 4+ years of experience working with Microsoft cloud technologies * Mastery of AI/ML services (Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI) * Solid experience architecting and developing Azure-based solutions (Functions, Logic Apps, App Service, API Management, Key Vault, Storage, Event-driven architecture) * Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and integration patterns, REST APIs, connectors, data modeling, and security (Azure AD, Conditional Access, RBAC) * Solid expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) * Proficiency with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD, IaC (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and release automation * Understanding of AI and Cognitive Services to enhance automation solutions would be a strong advantage  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure strong customer relationships  * Understanding of customers' processes, with experience in process consulting being advantageous  * Microsoft certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400, PL-600, CKA/CKAD * Fluent in English and French (mandatory) NICE TO HAVE * Knowledge of enterprise networking, zero-trust security models, and identity management with Azure AD * Experience with Dynamics 365 integration and extensibility BENEFITS * A truly international environment, collaborating on global automation projects. * The opportunity to experiment and innovate with Agentic AI solutions as we pioneer and rebrand our offering in the consultancy space * Work at the core of the automation and AI wave — we’re a pure-play automation company fully focused on innovation and future-ready solutions. * A growth-focused environment where you’re empowered to develop, excel, and contribute meaningfully — no corporate silos, no red tape. * This is not your standard corporate job — we value initiative over hierarchy, and you’ll have room to make a real impact from day one. * An amazing Barcelona office in the city centre, complete with a sunny terraza to enjoy your breaks. * A vibrant team culture, collaborative spirit and culture you can’t experience anywhere else!   We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. Drawing on 2+ years of hands-on experience, you will work in close contact with Senior Manager and Managers and independently lead workstreams on real client engagements — driving the design and implementation of next-generation automation and Agentic AI solutions.  This is not a support role — you will own deliverables, build client relationships, and contribute meaningfully to projects that are live, complex, and business-critical. It also represents a unique opportunity to interact with senior advisors and experts and learn fast both from technical and communication perspectives. Based in our Barcelona office, you will collaborate with Italian-speaking clients and multicultural teams across Europe.  Key Responsibilities  * Analyze business processes and workflows to identify automation and AI opportunities  * Gather, structure, and validate business and functional requirements with stakeholders  * Perform data analysis and research to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations  * Create process documentation, user stories, business cases, and functional specifications  * Drive testing and validation activities for automation and Agentic AI solutions  * Collaborate with and coordinate across consultants, developers, architects, and stakeholders  What We Are Looking For  * 2+ years of professional experience in business analysis, consulting, digital transformation, or operations related to process automation  * Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field  * Proven ability to independently manage requirements, analysis, and deliverables in client-facing environments  * Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving with a track record of actionable results  * Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies and/or automation and AI technologies  * Willingness to take care of creation of different document types (legal, compliance, technical requirements…) and related follow-up communications to proactively engage with customers  * Solid utilization and routing of AI prompting  * Excellent communication   * Attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced, project-based settings  * Background in a structured working environment (Big Fours, Consulting specialized firms, Automation Players) is a plus  Language Requirements  * Italian — Mother tongue (C2): primary language for Italian-speaking client engagements  * English — C1 Advanced: working language for internal communication, documentation, and cross-border projects  * Spanish — B2 Upper-Intermediate (minimum): day-to-day communication in the Barcelona office and with Spanish-speaking stakeholders  Why This Role  * Immediate exposure to complex, high-impact client projects in AI and automation  * Hands-on work with Agentic AI and end-to-end digital transformation programmes  * Direct collaboration with and mentorship from senior consultants and project leads  * Clear career progression path within Roboyo’s growing European consulting practice  * Dynamic, multicultural team based in Barcelona with a strong international client portfolio    We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. The Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer will be a key member of our Delivery Team, with a specific focus on leveraging the UiPath Platform to create innovative solutions for our clients.
