You will join a truly driven team of 60 hands-on builders serving 1 billion students worldwide. If we execute on our product vision, you will have built something that transforms education globally. YOUR MISSION The problem you will solve: We're moving at unprecedented speed to capture the AI learning market, but our CEO and leadership team are bottlenecked on critical growth initiatives that could accelerate our DAU and ARR towards unicorn status. Your ownership: * You will own and drive 2-3 high-impact projects that directly unlock revenue growth and operational efficiency - from optimising our sales funnel to spearheading market expansion across countries and verticals * You will build data models and strategic frameworks that inform decisions on market entry and product positioning * You will eliminate execution friction for our leadership team by taking full ownership of cross-functional initiatives from research through to implementation Why this matters: Every project you complete accelerates our timeline to serve 1 billion students. What success looks like: Within 3-6 months, you will have delivered measurable outcomes - whether that’s an improvement in sales conversion, a validated expansion strategy or automations that save our teams time each week. You'll join a team of 60 hands-on builders - and with the growth team behind it all: analysts, creators and influencers turned operators who scaled Europe's biggest creator program to 1B+ views across 25+ countries. If we get this right, you'll shape how an entire generation learns. YOUR MISSION Own the formats that power our growth engine. This is not a marketing internship in the traditional sense, it's one of the most strategically important seats we have. In 2026, how a product is perceived on social media - whether students think it's cool, trust it, talk about it, screenshot it to a friend - shapes its trajectory more than almost any other single factor. Get that right and growth scales exponentially. Get it wrong and the best product in the world stays invisible. Your real job is to understand that mechanism deeply - why an app's image spreads or stalls - and bend it in our favour at scale. The content is how you do it; the strategy is what you're actually mastering. As a creator who thinks like an operator, you will: * Pioneer new content formats - spot what's working, find the next viral angle, and prototype it yourself * Scale what works across the engine - scale formats across creators in markets like the US, Europe, LatAm and beyond * Help shape how the engine itself runs - program, creator and content strategy, managing those, tracking what lands and doubling down * Read the data behind virality - not heavy modelling, but knowing why something worked and what to do next Why this matters: every format you crack enables more students to have a better access to education. What success looks like: within 3-6 months you've pioneered formats/strategies and content that scaled across our creator base and measurably grew views and new students in your market. WHO YOU ARE You're passionate about reaching and influencing at heart and want more than just posting “for fun”. You get why content goes viral, not just that it does. You've made content or thought of online marketing - on your own account, for a brand, for a club, doesn't matter how big - and you're down to be on camera and put yourself out there. You are the type of person who: * Has creator instinct - you can look at a feed, spot the gap and feel what the students wants to see * Is open to create - happy to be on camera, prototype a format, make the thing rather than just describe it * Moves at startup speed and ships with urgency * Wants to operate, not just perform - you're excited to learn how formats scale, how creators are managed, how a product actually grows * Uses AI as a force multiplier - in research, scripting, editing, everything Must-haves * The willingness and eagerness to present yourself on camera to show creators how its done * Previous experience in content creation, high-growth startup, or similar projects * Strong instinct for TikTok / Reels / Shorts and what makes teenagers stop scrolling * Scrappy, fast, and hungry - you'd rather ship and learn than wait and polish * Fluent English (any additional language is a big plus) * Based in or able to relocate to Berlin, in-office 5 days/week One thing we do want: either a strong degree OR a real track record as a creator / in content. WHO WE ARE - OUR MISSION terralayr addresses the massive deficit in global energy storage. The over-indexing of electricity generation from renewable energy sources leads to large volatility on the energy grid. The main problem is that wind and solar farms are fluctuating and, by definition, unsteady—there is no sun at night, and it is not always windy. This increases the need for flexibility in the form of battery storage systems to balance the grid in times when supply and demand do not match. By buying and developing grid-scale storage assets and virtually aggregating them across a layer, we are creating the world's first energy cloud. Imagine AWS for energy. Through the flexibility we secure, we can market flexibility-as-a-service and hedging products/power insurance to utilities, SMEs, and industrial players and create virtual storage capacity for PV and wind farms. WHAT WE ARE HIRING FOR - YOUR ROLE As Chief of Staff (m/f/d), you work directly alongside the CEO and the wider leadership team as a force multiplier across terralayr's most important priorities. You are the CEO's closest thought partner and right hand, while also serving as a trusted advisor and facilitator for the rest of the leadership team, stepping in wherever a critical topic needs an owner. You operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and organization, turning high-stakes problems and strategic priorities into structured decisions and implementation. One week you are building the case for an acquisition or entering a new market, the next you are running a fundraising process, tightening cross-functional processes, or preparing board meetings. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON - YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, prioritization, and decision-making, turning open questions into clear, defensible decisions shaping the company * Own, drive, and align the strategy process across the company, especially via regular strategy/leadership offsites * Work on topics related to market- and business model expansion to further scale terralayrs business * Drive fundraising and investor relations, owning data rooms, investor materials, and the reporting cadence across equity and debt processes * Lead board management, from agenda and pre-reads to minutes and follow-up tracking across the leadership team * Own cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams, stepping in where no single function has clear ownership * Reduce organizational debt and improve core company processes by fixing unclear ownership and structural gaps, embedding AI and automation where they create real leverage * Drive M&A and corporate development end to end, from target screening and valuation to diligence coordination and execution support * Coordinate regulatory and public affairs topics jointly with Legal to advance and protect terralayr's interests externally WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - YOUR QUALIFICATIONS * 4+ years in management consulting, private equity or a comparable Chief of Staff or strategy role * Strong analytical and structuring skills, able to break down complex problems and build decision-ready analyses and models * Highly motivated, driven, resilient/flexible and effective in a fast-changing environment * Proven track record owning cross-functional projects end to end in fast-paced, ambiguous environments * Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence and align senior leadership without formal authority * Exceptional written and verbal communication, translating complex topics into clear materials for board, investors, and internal audiences * High ownership, structured thinking, and a hands-on execution mindset * Comfort with confidentiality and high-trust work close to the CEO * Fluent in English and German * Interest and ideally experience in energy, climate or infrastructure WHY YOU SHOULD BE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY * Our purpose: Join us in building up an asset fleet that has the potential to make a positive impact on society and our planet by addressing the massive deficit in global energy storage. * Focus on innovation: Building our asset fleet following our technology agnostic approach means you will have the opportunity to work with the highest industry standard equipment. * Impact: Your contribution will not only have a positive impact on society; by joining our small and nimble team, your work will make a difference from day one. * Personal development: You will benefit from a learning & development budget of 1,000 EUR per calendar year that you can use for your individual professional development.
