We are looking for an (Junior) Compliance Specialist - EPR to join our Product Compliance team as soon as possible. Our team consists of four colleagues with diverse backgrounds, combining legal and technical expertise. In this role, you will support and further develop our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) processes, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met accurately and efficiently across multiple markets. You will focus on managing compliance data, supporting reporting activities, and improving processes to ensure smooth and reliable fulfillment of EPR obligations. You will also contribute to upcoming projects, including the integration of AI solutions to simplify and enhance compliance workflows. Are you ready for your next chapter at Klarstein? WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Create accurate and timely EPR reports and support registrations and filings with relevant authorities across multiple markets * Monitor changes in EPR legislation and help implement new regulatory requirements into day-to-day compliance processes * Manage compliance-related data by ensuring accuracy, maintaining documentation and dashboards, and supporting internal and external audits * Build strong relationships with external service providers and collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Data, Sales, and Product teams) to ensure smooth compliance processes * Monitor EPR-related costs, invoices, and budgets to support accurate financial reporting and transparency * Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes and contribute to initiatives that increase efficiency, including AI-driven solutions * Collaborate closely with the Product Compliance team to ensure consistent compliance activities and support sustainability objectives across European markets WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: * Degree in Law, Engineering, Business, or a related field * Strong data skills: advanced Excel, confidence working with large datasets, excellent attention to detail, and an eye for optimizing manual tasks with simple * Ability to interpret legal requirements and translate them into practical, actionable steps * Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with stakeholders across Europe * Adaptability and a proactive mindset, with the ability to work in a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment * Interest in cross-functional topics, with the ability to understand concepts across law, finance, product, and environmental compliance * Fluency in English; German (B2 or higher) is preferred NICE TO HAVE: * Initial experience in EPR reporting, regulatory, or product compliance * Knowledge of SAP or Power BI * Experience in improving compliance processes or supporting AI-driven initiatives in a business environment If you match most of the profile and are excited about developing your expertise in EPR compliance, working with data, regulations, and international stakeholders, we would love to hear from you. Purpose of Position As a key player in the SME sales strategy for the DACH region, you will be responsible for managing and developing your own sales and revenue pipeline, focusing on securing high-revenue merchants for the network. You will drive your personal sales performance by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals within these markets. Skills & Expertise * Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial roles with a focus on new business development in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, B2B marketplace, or related industries. * Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to clients. * Proficiency with Salesforce.com and sales pipelining software is a benefit. * Excellent computer literacy, including advanced skills with the MS Office suite. * Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders of various levels of seniority. * Business fluency in English and near-native proficiency in German. * Self-driven and commercially savvy, with the ability to drive projects autonomously in a fast-paced international environment.
