Role Summary
Sophos is seeking a high-impact Country Manager, Brazil to lead and grow our business across the country, with full ownership of the SMB, Midmarket, and Enterprise segments. This leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth in Brazil by leading a team of approximately 10 field sellers focused on hunting, pipeline creation, customer engagement, and closing new business in territory.
While Sophos is a 100% channel-first company, this is not a purely channel-management role. The Country Manager will lead a customer-facing, in-territory sales team responsible for identifying opportunities, building executive relationships, creating demand, and winning business in partnership with the channel. Success in this role will come from strong field execution, disciplined sales leadership, and the ability to work closely with partners to bring Sophos solutions to market and accelerate revenue.
This role requires a leader who can combine strategic thinking with front-line execution. The Country Manager will set the tone for the Brazil business, coach a high-performing team, engage directly with customers and partners, and drive predictable growth across all segments.

What You’ll Do * Inspirational leadership - Lead, empower, grow and support our local sales, account management, marketing and operations organization in Mexico, managing a team of managers and their teams focused on growing Adyen’s business with Mexico-based companies and collaborating with global merchants. * Local spokesperson - Position Adyen as a thought leader in the local market, through implementing our marketing & communication strategy in cooperation with Adyen's marketing and communications team. Adapt Adyen’s global strategy to the local market and align local teams for speedy execution. * Scale the organization - Scale to meet our growth targets and to capture the demand of Adyen’s platform across segments, verticals, and offerings. * Upskill & develop - Grow and develop your leadership team to capture the opportunity at hand and, in turn, develop their own teams. * Global collaboration - Stay in close cooperation with our Regional HQ in São Paulo (BR) and global HQ in Amsterdam to ensure alignment on product demand and to embed your team in Adyen’s regional and global ways of working. * Working hands-on - Get hands on involved in the largest, most strategic deals, managing executive relationships and helping the team get the deal over the finish line. * LATAM regional leadership - become a critical member of the LATAM regional leadership team, working hand-in-hand with counterparts based on Brazil. * Change management - be a purposeful and empathetic change agent, embracing the ways of working within Adyen while bringing a fresh perspective on how we can operate at scale. Who You Are * A seasoned senior leader comfortable scaling the organization at speed in the coming years; * Experience with managing managers is a requirement; * Empathetic leader who is experienced at effectively driving and influencing change across an organization; * Comfortable being hands on in our largest, most important deals, experience maintaining the most senior executive relationships; * Relevant industry network; * Knowledge in Payment and / or Financial Services and /or Tech * Strong communicator and excellent people skills; * Business proficiency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus); * At least 15+ years work experience in an entrepreneurial, technology focused work environment; * Ability to work independently while maintaining strong relations with other offices.
