Expert Hub is the squad responsible for developing and automating the tools that scale VTEX's Product Support team. Here, the
focus is not just on solving problems — it's on building the systems that make support evolve intelligently and continuously.
As a Product Support Engineer at Expert Hub, you will build the AI agents, infrastructure, and systems that expand the capacity of
the Product Support team, with a focus on reducing manual effort and increasing problem resolution speed at scale. The goal is to
develop end-to-end solutions: tool frontends, service backends, MCP servers, AI agent integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and the
infrastructure that sustains everything on AWS.
You will be at the forefront of applying artificial intelligence to real operations, building solutions that directly impact VTEX
customers' experience and the efficiency of the entire support team. By staying close to real operational problems, you will also
have the opportunity to translate recurring patterns into structured insights for Product and Engineering teams, directly
influencing platform evolution.
Product Support is VTEX's internal N2 layer, positioned between the Customer Experience team and Engineering. We are the go-to
specialists for complex platform issues — we deeply understand our customers' architectures, remove operational blockers, and
transform recurring problems into inputs for continuous product improvement.
Expert Hub is the strategic squad within Product Support with a clear mission: to develop the intelligence and tooling that powers
the entire operation. We build AI agents, automations, and systems that allow the support team to operate at a higher level — with
more context, more speed, and less rework. If you enjoy building things that make other people work better, this is your place.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Product Builder to join the Engage squad, responsible for the Data and Human Support products within the VTEX CX Platform. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and design, and is passionate about building digital products that deliver measurable business and customer impact. You will lead the development of high-impact digital products with multidisciplinary teams, taking full ownership of operations, performance, and costs under a “you build it, you run it” mindset. We need someone who can connect vision to execution, make informed trade-offs, and drive initiatives independently in a fast-paced environment. You will leverage AI and modern tooling to accelerate prototyping, documentation, API development, and task automation, while maintaining strong fluency with engineering and design teams to ensure agile, high-quality delivery. Strong cross-functional collaboration, execution excellence, and a product mindset focused on outcomes are essential for success in this role. KEY RESPONSABILITIES * Define product vision, metrics, and strategy based on real customer problems, usage data, and market trends — leading lean discovery processes that validate hypotheses through rapid AI-powered prototyping. * Lead a stream-aligned squad, prioritize the backlog, remove blockers, and act hands-on in the development, testing, and launch of high-value increments, using AI agents to orchestrate and accelerate execution across the cycle. * Produce requirements, diagrams, and documentation collaboratively and iteratively, with AI as a core accelerator — reducing friction and keeping engineering, design, and data teams aligned. * Take full ownership of the product lifecycle ("you build it, you run it"), leveraging AI-powered observability and automation to monitor performance, costs, and reliability while driving continuous improvement. * Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and post-mortems) to promote transparency, continuous learning, and the delivery of tangible business value. WHO YOU ARE * 2–3+ years of experience in software development or in product roles within digital products, such as Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or other positions embedded in software product teams. * Real AI fluency: acts as an agent orchestrator, decomposing problems, delegating to AI systems, and combining outputs to multiply productivity. * Hands-on background in software environments, comfortable with APIs, technical documentation, and integration flows. * Able to define product vision, set metrics, and translate strategy into an executable roadmap with autonomy. * Technical fluency: comfortable reading API specs (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks), running basic SQL/NoSQL queries, and discussing architecture trade-offs with engineering teams. * Familiar with agile methodologies and experienced with plannings, dailies, reviews, and retrospectives. * Strong communicator: able to simplify technical concepts into clear narratives for both teams and stakeholders. * Comfortable with product metrics and evidence-based decision making. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT VTEX VTEX is a global commerce platform that helps brands and retailers grow.
