About the position
Showpad is looking for a Senior IT Operations Specialist. As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be supporting the global
internal Showpad IT infrastructure, and managing local and global projects. You will be part of an international team responsible
for helping your 400+ Showpad colleagues around the globe whenever they face an IT problem. In addition you will have a key role
in assuring software, systems and network enable the organization to run smoothly and uninterruptedly and provide an enjoyable end
user experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 8+ years of professional hands-on software development experience * 2+ years of experience leading software engineering teams * Hands-on experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems * A track record of managing and mentoring junior and senior engineers * Customer obsession, ability to articulate and represent customer experience in various forums to drive the right outcome that benefits our customers * A track record of attracting and hiring top talent and growing teams * Demonstrated ability to define and drive complex initiatives and projects across multiple teams * Proven success with cross-discipline and cross-team collaborations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience building and operating highly scalable, data-intensive services * Experience building and operating observability solutions, such as designing and building telemetry collections, data transport and storage solutions, and composable UI architectures We don't expect deep expertise in every dimension above, but we look for genuine interest in learning any of the less familiar areas.
