Now, we are looking for a new talent to join our team. We are looking for a goal-oriented and energetic Assistant Store Manager with Visual Merchandising (VM) responsibility for our store in Munich. We are seeking someone who is driven to make a difference and whose energy can help the store become a success. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth. The role also includes responsibility for the store's visual appearance. This involves window displays and implementing seasonal/period themes. Additionally, you will organize and conduct visual training with the store team to ensure that Peak Performance VM standards are maintained. Your role will include: * Deliver a high-quality shopping experience by providing customers with professional and personalized service, assisting them with product information and tailored recommendations to support their purchasing decisions. * Proactively apply different sales techniques to contribute to the achievement of the store’s sales targets. * Operate the point-of-sale system, handling transactions efficiently and accurately. * Ensure shelves are well-stocked and the inventory is efficiently maintained, recognizing that an organized and fully replenished store environment supports both customer satisfaction and sales performance. * Collaborate closely with the team and contribute to a positive team dynamic focused on achieving shared goals. Key responsibilities: * Scheduling and inventory management. * Participate in the recruitment and selection of new employees. * Coach, train, and motivate store staff to achieve their goals and provide exceptional customer service. * Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store that aligns with our visual merchandising standards and enhances the overall customer experience. Job Requirements: * You are an outgoing person who loves customer contact, sales, and exceeding expectations. Being unpretentious is a natural part of your personality to continuously develop. * You should be organized and structured with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. * The ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve their goals. * High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in business, management, or a related field is a plus. * Strong language skills in German and preferably English, both spoken and written. * At least 2 years of experience working in a leadership role in a store. As Publishing Account Manager you are the external voice of Embark Studios to our platform partners. Your goal is to champion our games within the ecosystems of Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox, Valve (Steam), and others. You build and maintain strong relationships to secure featuring opportunities, navigate platform policies, and unlock commercial value. Example of responsibilities Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for first-party partners (Sony, Microsoft, Valve, Epic, etc.). Advocacy & Featuring: Pitch our titles for platform-specific opportunities, including store featuring, marketing support, and inclusion in subscription services or events. Sales Opportunities: Collaborate with platforms to identify and lock in participation in major seasonal sales and platform-specific activations. Strategic Insight: Feed platform intelligence back to the internal Publishing and Dev teams (e.g., changes in platform algorithms, new opportunities, hardware updates, platform user numbers, regional details). Conflict Resolution: Act as the escalation point for commercial or high-level certification blockers. Understanding of the console and PC ecosystem cycles and distinct platform cultures. A willingness to work across EU, UK and US timezones if required Strong negotiation and presentation skills. The start date for the role would be in the beginning of August, however we are flexible to move it around a bit. What you´ll do Pitch Content & Campaign Support * Make our materials shine: You take our existing media plans, texts, and seasonal packages and give them a professional, clean, and modern look. You make sure our sales decks look premium and engaging. * RFP Styling: You support the team in answering client briefings (RFPs) by turning raw data and campaign strategies into beautifully structured, easy-to-read, and aesthetically pleasing presentations. * Campaign Operations: You assist the sales planning team with everyday tasks to ensure seamless campaign delivery and help keep our ad-operations running smoothly. * Social Media Playground: Got extra creative energy? Our social media team is always happy to integrate your fresh ideas and eye for aesthetics into asset creation. Who you are * An eye for design: You don’t need to be a finished master, but you should have a natural feeling for clean layouts, colors, and typography. * Tool Basics: You are comfortable working with Google Slides, PowerPoint and/or Canva. You know how to align elements, fix formatting, and make a slide look organized. * Detail Lover: You actually enjoy the process of "polishing" – making sure fonts are consistent, logos are placed correctly, and everything looks neat and pixel-perfect. * Podcast Enthusiast: You love audio and pop culture. Working with brands that sponsor shows like Drinnies or Das Podcast Ufo excites you. * Language Skills: You are fluent in German and comfortable communicating/working in English. * Availability: You are currently enrolled as a student and available to support us for approximately 20 hours a week.
