JOB DESCRIPTION Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for precision manufacturing and building great teams? Do you want to play a central role in the production of world-leading superconducting instruments? Single Quantum - based in Delft and a world leader in superconducting single-photon detection - is looking for an Assembly Team Lead (1 FTE) to lead our Assembly team and take ownership of the quality, output, and reliability of our assembled products. IN SHORT Single Quantum develops and manufactures high-tech light detection instruments for scientific and industrial applications, limited only by the laws of physics. Our international team works at the absolute cutting edge of deep-tech innovation. As Assembly Team Lead, you will manage the Assembly team, drive continuous improvement in our production processes, and ensure our products are built right-first-time and delivered on time. You will work closely with our Production Manager, R&D team, and planning and supply functions. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING In this role, you will be guiding the Assembly team towards a stable, scalable, and high-quality assembly operations. Your responsibilities will include: * Identifying, specifying, and coordinating the ordering of technically complex components (e.g.CAD-based cryostat parts) inclosecollaboration with colleagues and suppliers.. * Setting and managing daily and weekly priorities within the team to ensuretimelyand predictable delivery. * Coordinating and communicating with adjacent teams to keep information flowing and resolve blockers quickly. * Documenting and maintaining procedures, and continuously improve the assembly team to ensure standardisation and reliability to scale the assembly in line with company growth. * Ensuring timely availability of components by coordinating ordering,component continuit and enforcing safety-stock procedures. * Coordinating the team efforts to support the introduction of new products. * Leading and developing the Assembly team through effective people management. YOUR PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS Ideally, you will have... * Minimum 5 years in a production / assembly enviroment * A practical understanding of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly. * Good understanding of quality principles and production processes. * A structured, process-oriented approach to work-especially in planning. * Clear communicationskillsacross technical and non-technical stakeholders. * The ability to read and interpret CAD drawings. * Experience with high-vacuum systems. * Experience with cryogenics. QphoX is looking for a Head of Product to lead the transformation of our quantum transducer technologies from R&D prototypes to scalable, market-ready products. As Head of Product, you will define and execute the product strategy, align the roadmap with QphoX’s strategic objectives, and work closely with the engineering, fabrication, and business teams to deliver our next-generation offerings. As a member of our team, you will help develop and produce the next generation of integrated transducers and take their performance to the next level. You will bridge technical excellence and commercial impact, ensuring our products meet customer needs and quality standards at every stage of development while working with the most advanced techniques and state-of-the-art tools available. You will be involved in: * Build, mentor and manage a cross-functional engineering team. * Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with QphoX’s long-term vision and commercial strategy. * Drive the process of taking technologies from R&D through validation, scaling, and market introduction. * Interface with external partners, suppliers and customers to gather feedback, define product requirements, and validate solutions. * Identify market trends, customer needs and emerging opportunities in the quantum hardware ecosystem. * Establish systems for documentation, product lifecycle management, and cross-departmental coordination. * Work closely with nanofabrication, quantum engineering, and business development teams to translate technical progress into product value. Skills and knowledge you will bring to QphoX: * MSc or PhD in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline. * 10+ years’ experience in product management or technical leadership, ideally in deep-tech, semiconductor, photonics, or quantum hardware. * Strong understanding of R&D to production transitions in high-tech or nanofabrication environments. * Demonstrated ability to manage interdisciplinary teams and coordinate across engineering, fabrication and business functions. * Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style. * Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and able to translate complex technology into actionable roadmaps and deliverables. QphoX is looking for a new member to join us in developing and building our quantum transducers. We are looking to expand our team with a Nanofabrication Production Engineer. As a member of our team, you will help develop and produce the next generation of integrated quantum devices and take their performance to the next level. You will be trained to become part of one of the world’s leading groups in developing microwave to optical transducers. You will be involved in: * Fabrication of transducer devices * Developing and improving processes in cleanroom to ensure their quality covering operation, calibration, and optimization * Collaborating with other teams to ensure processes align with specifications * Developing solutions to prevent recurring issues * Following the transition of new process technologies from R&D to scaling and production * Maintaining accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and specifications * Coordinating scheduled preventive maintenance for equipment, and develop validation requirements for special processes, providing assistance in executing qualification protocols * Implementing enhancements to processes to improve key performance metrics such as yield, throughput, and cycle time * Working in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team of employees You are suitable for this role if you have one or several of the following: * Expertise in semiconductor or TFLN industry fabrication * Proficiency in cutting-edge nano/micro-fabrication techniques, ensuring precision and reliability in every process * Demonstrated experience using statistics to analyze test results * Embrace collaboration and foster a supportive team environment * Value diverse perspectives and open communication * Organized and adaptable, with an interest for problem-solving to overcome challenges * No prior experience in or knowledge of quantum physics is required.
