We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Product Manager to own reporting and visualisation within iP: Intelligence Platform, giving coaches, sports scientists and performance staff the insight they need to make decisions. This role will require a strategic thinker with genuine technical depth, someone who can partner closely with engineering on data and platform trade-offs while also shaping iP's growing API and integrations capabilities, including managing our relationship with a major global technology partner, bringing AI capabilities to market and owning how their usage and cost are tracked. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of how sports organisations operate and a genuine passion for turning data into insight that makes a real difference to coaches, sports scientists and performance staff.

The Role We are looking for an experienced and driven Product Manager to lead core product initiatives from conception through to launch and beyond. This role will require a strategic thinker with a strong emphasis on executing on product vision, stakeholder management, and facilitating a successful product lifecycle. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of how sports organisations operate and a genuine passion for building products that make a real difference to coaches, sports scientists and performance staff. This role requires a flexible approach to working hours and occasional weekend work to support our US-based clients and global roadmap.

About the Role You will take a central role in building and evolving modern data products in a cloud-first environment on Google Cloud Platform. The focus is on creating reliable, scalable, and well-governed data pipelines that support changing business needs while aligning with a clear target vision. Job DescriptionYou will take end-to-end responsibility for building, optimizing, and supporting both existing and new data pipelines on GCP. You will drive a DevOps-oriented way of working and manage CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure. You will design data products as independent deployment units and ensure they follow defined standards for security, scalability, observability, and performance. You will work closely with the Product Manager and key stakeholders to shape the vision for data products and identify new opportunities that support evolving business needs. You will collaborate with product teams across domains to enable data sharing and integration in a data mesh setup. You will contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices and help reduce technical debt. You will stay current within data engineering, analytics, and cloud technologies and bring that knowledge into the team. RequirementsExperience building, optimizing, and supporting data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform. Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure, primarily on GCP. Ability to work with a DevOps mindset and apply modern engineering principles in daily work. Experience designing data products with a strong focus on security, scalability, observability, and performance. Experience collaborating with Product Managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional product teams. Ability to work in a data mesh context and support data sharing and integration across domains. Cloud certification. Nice to haveExperience with GCP services such as Cloud Run. Exposure to large-scale data processing and orchestration frameworks such as Spark, Beam, or Hive. Experience working with data formats such as Avro, Parquet, Iceberg, or Hudi. Experience with DBT in production data transformation workflows. Knowledge of modern data governance and cataloging practices. Experience with data visualization tools and collaboration with analytical stakeholders. GCP Data Engineer certification.
