🏆 🎉 🏆 WE'RE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE WE'VE WON ADVICE FIRM OF THE YEAR AT THE MONEY MARKETING AWARDS 🏆 🎉 🏆
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing, mission-led business that's transforming how people access financial advice. We
partner with HR and Reward teams to bring financial wellbeing into the workplace, helping employees feel more confident, secure
and in control of their financial futures. You'll be at the heart of our growth journey, working with progressive, people-focused
businesses who want to do better by their employees. You'll sell a product that genuinely improves lives, and you'll be surrounded
by a team that moves fast, thinks sharply, and cares deeply about the mission.
At Octopus Money, we're on a mission to make money advice accessible to all, because the right advice can turn your life dreams
into reality.
The facts are alarming: half of Brits reach retirement age without enough money to live the life they want, financial stress is a
leading cause of poor mental health and only 8% of us have access to 1-to-1 advice.
There's plenty of information out there, but most of us just wish that someone we trust would tell us what to do with our money.
With Octopus Money, you get a personalised plan and a friendly expert to help you make it happen. We combine advisers, coaches and
technology to understand your situation and recommend the right steps for your savings, investments, pensions and more.
To transform millions of lives, we need a movement. So whether you're a workplace supporting your employees' financial health or a
firm that wants to offer affordable advice to your customers, we hope you'll join us.
We believe everyone deserves personal, 1-to-1 advice with their money.
You'll be responsible for driving new business across the UK, managing the end-to-end sales process, and building trusted
relationships with HR and Reward leaders. This isn't just another sales role, it's a chance to be part of something that genuinely
matters and to play a key role in building a category-defining business.
We believe you should have access to every size of opportunity, big or small. Bring the value, and you get a slice of it, every
single time. You'll thrive here if you back your gut, adapt fast, and are used to working without a playbook. As an early-stage
business, you'll wear many hats - outreach, multi-threading, hosting events, shaping the sales narrative, negotiating contracts,
and working with tech and ops to solve for the customer.
financial services, professional services, legal, recruitment, media, and tech
engagement
You're driven by your targets and the company's OKRs, but you care just as much about doing right by the customer.
Sharp and quick on your feet
You read a room fast, trust your gut, and find creative ways to stand out and figure things out without a script.
Earns trust
You know when to challenge your prospect's thinking and push back when it matters. You know when a "no" from you builds more trust
than a "yes."
Own your destiny
You take full responsibility for your number, and you'll roll up your sleeves to hit it.
Move with urgency and focus
You take initiative, prioritise ruthlessly, and pivot fast when the plan changes.
Build relationships that stick
You earn trust with senior stakeholders through credibility, insight, and always having their best interest at heart.

Are you an enterprise sales professional who treats business development as a craft, not just a numbers game? Do you want to move past transactional, inbound-dependent selling to open major accounts from scratch, taking full ownership of the sales narrative for an early-stage product where technical credibility and strategic context matter? ABOUT JETBRAINS We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale. WHAT YOU’LL DO Enterprise software sales requires deep technical curiosity and real ownership, especially when introducing a completely new product category. AppGlass is our new AI-powered production debugging product designed to help engineering teams investigate complex issues directly within running applications. Because this is an early-stage product, we are building our enterprise pipeline from the ground up, moving past inherited inbound funnels to establish direct relationships with engineering leaders. In this role, you will lead the full outbound enterprise sales execution for AppGlass across Europe. You will work independently to self-source opportunities, map complex organization structures, and gain access to senior technical decision-makers. You will collaborate closely with our Product Lead to refine our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), funnel strategy, and product messaging based on real-world interactions. You will own the entire commercial relationship – from initial discovery through security, procurement, and contract execution – directly influencing how our product scales in the global enterprise market. Day to day, you will: * Identify and reach relevant engineering decision-makers within target enterprise accounts. * Source your own sales pipeline through professional networking, targeted outreach, referrals, and industry events. * Lead comprehensive discovery sessions and commercial conversations with technical champions and economic buyers. * Drive enterprise pilot programs forward, ensuring clear alignment between user feedback and commercial goals. * Navigate complex security reviews, legal negotiations, procurement cycles, and vendor onboarding processes. * Negotiate and finalize B2B commercial agreements to secure new enterprise customers. * Deliver structured feedback from prospects to product teams to help continuously refine positioning and features. WHAT YOU’LL BRING * A problem-solving mindset that enjoys turning early-stage product complexity into clear, structured business value. * The autonomy to drive enterprise deals independently and take full accountability for the revenue outcomes. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical engineering concepts intelligently with developers and financial realities with executives. * A commitment to building long-term trust with clients over securing quick, transactional wins. * Resilience and adaptability when navigating the ambiguous, evolving landscape of a new product launch. WHAT YOU’LL NEED * A proven track record of closing enterprise B2B sales for highly technical products, such as developer tools, observability, infrastructure, cloud, or security software. * The demonstrated capability to open major enterprise accounts from zero without relying on pre-existing inbound leads. * An established professional network among engineering leaders and senior technology executives. * Hands-on experience navigating complex enterprise procurement, legal frameworks, compliance hurdles, and information security evaluations. * Strong command of strategic outbound pipeline generation methodologies. * Fluency in written and spoken English for daily collaboration across international teams and client organizations. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Success means establishing predictable, scalable enterprise sales for AppGlass. You will earn the trust of the team by consistently securing qualified meetings with enterprise decision-makers and turning raw outreach into active, progressing pilot programs. You win when you navigate complex security and procurement hurdles smoothly, converting early-stage pilots into stable, long-term paid commercial agreements that validate our market positioning and drive sustainable revenue growth. WHY JOIN JETBRAINS? * Strong base salary – We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience. * Flexible work schedule – Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office. * Extra time off – More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love. * Learning and development opportunities – Access to conferences, courses, and language classes. * Relocation support – Assistance to help make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible. * Free meals and snacks – Lunch and refreshments provided to keep you fueled. * Health and wellness – On-site gyms or sports club stipends. * Internal events – Company-wide celebrations and team gatherings. Contribute customer ideas to our public issue tracker and apply MEDPICC and Command of the Message on all opportunities. * Mentor and coach fellow Commercial Account Executives, sharing sales strategies, customer insights, and lessons learned to help elevate team performance and contribute to team goal achievement. * Regularly meet on-site with key customers to develop and strengthen executive-level relationships, ensuring GitLab is viewed as a strategic, long-term partner at the highest levels of the organization. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * Ability to drive complex B2B software sales cycles and build trusted relationships with commercial and mid-market customers, ideally in a Commercial Account Executive or similar role serving mid-market customers. * Ability to quickly learn and sell a complex SaaS or DevSecOps platform to commercial and mid-market accounts, including identifying and breaking into new customers. * Excellence in operational rigor for deal management in Salesforce and Clari (or similar CRM and forecasting tools), with the ability to create reliable forecasts and manage your territory using both insight and data. * Skill in managing and closing larger, more complex deals in the Commercial segment using proven multi-threading, negotiation, and executive coverage strategies. * Self-starter who is a manager of one when it comes to territory account planning, quarterly and annual KPI execution, and driving new business acquisition and expansion through consultative, multi-stakeholder sales motions. * Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach peers, share knowledge and learnings across the team, and take on additional team-level responsibilities that elevate team performance and collective goal achievement. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate value at all levels of the customer organization, lead clear and compelling customer conversations, and remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
