Confident in the sense that you’re grounded in who you are and your values.
Humble in the sense that, even though you know a lot about running restaurants, you stay curious, keep learning, and welcome other
perspectives. Because you know it’s not about you. It’s about the mission of the company, and building a great restaurant and
workplace where people genuinely want to do their best.
You’ve spent enough years in the restaurant industry to understand what it takes to run a successful operation. But just as
importantly, you’ve spent enough time getting to know yourself, developing the calm, clarity, and steadiness it takes to lead in a
fast-paced restaurant environment.
In this role, you’ll lead from the floor. You’ll work hard, set the example, and roll up your sleeves alongside your team, every
day.
Because let’s be honest, running a Five Guys restaurant is intense. We serve high-quality, freshly made food at the speed of fast
food, without freezers, timers, or automation. Just great people, sharp routines, and amazing teamwork.
If this sounds like you, you might be the Restaurant Manager we’re looking for at our brand new restaurants in Copenhagen,
Denmark.
The culture in the restaurant starts with you.
You lead with warmth and clarity. You set clear expectations and create structure that help your team succeed under pressure. You
know how to give feedback and hold people accountable in a way that makes them feel respected, cared for while motivated to do
their best. You build teams that follow you because they trust you, not because they fear the consequences.
At the same time, you will take full ownership of the restaurant’s daily operations and Profit & Loss, covering everything from
leadership and food quality to customer experience, hygiene routines, and of course, driving profitability through smart planning,
cost control, and efficient staffing.
✔ Taking full Profit and Loss responsibility of the restaurant and working toward financial targets
✔ Leading and coaching Managers and Crew side by side
✔ Creating a culture where people feel safe, engaged, and proud to be part of the team
✔ Overseeing core operations such as staffing, food prep, scheduling, inventory, ordering and compliance
✔ Owning the customer experience and stepping in on the floor when needed
✔ Ensuring strong routines for food quality, hygiene, and service
✔ Developing individuals and growing internal talent into future leaders
