About the Role
We are looking for a strong and visionary Design Lead to take ownership of the creative direction, quality standards, and
operational efficiency of Evoplay’s design function.
This role is ideal for a hands-on design leader who combines exceptional visual taste with strong management skills and the
ability to build scalable creative processes. You will lead a multidisciplinary design team and play a critical role in shaping
the visual identity of our products, marketing campaigns, and corporate brand.
As Design Lead, you will work closely with the CMO and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that all creative output is
strategically aligned, visually outstanding, and delivered efficiently.

We are now looking for a Design Lead, to lead and develop our design expression within the Kids business area at Kappahl. About the Role As Design Lead, you will be responsible for setting the visual direction and ensuring a commercial, profitable, and sustainable offering for our Kids target groups across the entire assortment in close collaboration with Kappahl creative team. This is a key role in translating business strategy into attractive design concepts, always with the customer at the center. You will play an important role in the development of the business area, actively contributing to both short-term results and long-term strategies. As a member of the Kappahl Kids Management Team, you will work closely with your own team and cross-functional partners to develop and drive the overall assortment offering, from initial concept to the final customer proposition. You also work closely with Kappahl’s Creative Team to ensure that all concepts and collections are aligned with Kappahl’s brand identity and visual expression. Your Responsibilities Define and develop the creative and visual direction for the overall Kids offering. Lead and inspire the design team towards clear goals and a shared vision. Ensure that design is commercial, relevant, and aligned with the Kappahl brand. Contribute to the development of the long-term assortment strategy. Drive collaboration with assortment planning, buying, and other key functions. Monitor and analyze trends, market developments, and customer needs to continuously evolve the offering. We are looking for someone who combines a strong design eye with business acumen and leadership capabilities. Experience & Qualifications Post-secondary education in design or a related field. Extensive experience in a similar role within fashion and design. Proven ability to translate business goals into a clear and commercial design direction. Strong understanding of fashion trends and market developments. Experience in leading teams and working cross-functionally. Proficiency in relevant design tools and software. Within the team, the Design Systems function provides the foundations that allow product teams to move quickly while delivering consistent, high quality experiences. We’ve recently rebuilt our design system as part of our move to native, giving us a strong foundation for the future rather than a large legacy estate to untangle. This role is an opportunity to lead that next phase. You’ll own the design system as a strategic platform, helping us scale delivery, improve consistency, strengthen governance and unlock new ways of working through AI-assisted design and development.
