Technical tasks include but not limited to conceptual site layout, utility design; roadway design; site grading design; storm drain design; storm water management design; water and sanitary sewer main design; soil erosion and sedimentation control design; floodplain studies; permitting and entitlement support; and construction support (2026 start). Accountability and Duties * Designs site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D. * Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout. * Prepares and computes, but not limited to due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinion of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis. * Assists in production of final construction drawings. * Prepares permit applications for applicable municipal agencies. * Assists project managers as requested. * Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects. * Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. * Attends client and public meetings- days or evenings. * Participates in business development efforts as requested. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Outstanding Interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a variety of people. * Adaptable and able to respond quickly and accurately under pressure. * Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Must be fluent in the English language. * Available to work nights and weekends to complete projects as necessary. * Proficient in MS office. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus. * Must have a valid drivers license. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. * 2+ years of experience. Required Certificates, Licenses, Registration: * PE License required. * Valid driver’s license. Qualification Requirements: * 6+ years of experience; AutoCAD Civil 3D experience Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
