About 9fin 9fin is the AI platform powering global debt markets — the world’s largest asset class at over $145 trillion. Debt markets are vast, global, and mission-critical, yet still run on fragmented data, PDFs, and manual workflows. 9fin replaces this broken infrastructure with a single platform that centralises proprietary credit data, deep analysis, and high-value workflows across global markets. Today, 9fin powers teams at 300+ blue-chip institutions worldwide, including global banks, asset managers, private equity firms, law firms, and advisors. The business is scaling at exceptional speed, with rapid expansion in the US and best-in-class retention driven by deep workflow adoption. We’re at a defining inflection point. With proven product-market fit and strong, global market pull, 9fin is accelerating toward becoming the category-defining platform for debt markets worldwide. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON You'll be embedded with our content team, working directly with editors to turn engagement and coverage data into the decisions that shape what we publish. Sitting within the analytics team alongside our analysts and analytics engineers, you'll own content analytics end-to-end, from instrumentation through to the insight that changes editorial strategy. * Build engagement measurement beyond readership. Define and instrument the signals that reveal an article's true value; time on page, scroll depth, click-through. * Separate genuine engagement from passing interest. Build tag-effectiveness analysis and LLM-based content classification so editors can see what actually resonates. * Measure core and public audiences. Quantify engagement for our core subscriber base (client value) and broader public reach (demand generation), across content, social and video. * Power data-driven coverage prioritisation. Surface the highest-attention companies and situations so editorial resource hits the most contentious, market-moving stories. * Track competitive coverage and story attribution. Monitor coverage gaps, timeliness and accuracy versus competitors, and attribute market-moving stories to 9fin. * Explain what's moving the numbers. Diagnose spike drivers and build reproducible analysis frameworks rather than one-off dashboards. * Own content datasets and the semantic layer. Author dbt models on BigQuery and own the Omni semantic layer so the newsroom gets fast, trustworthy, self-serve answers. * Be the embedded analytical partner to the newsroom. Work directly with editors, translating content questions into analysis that shapes editorial strategy and helps us build a better distressed product than the competition. ABOUT YOU You're a senior, hands-on individual contributor with real technical depth who's excited to sit inside a newsroom and use data to shape what gets covered and how. * Proven analytics experience, ideally in media, B2B SaaS or fintech, owning analysis end-to-end and driving real decisions. * Expert SQL for complex analysis, optimisation and reusable datasets. * dbt & a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake or similar) — commercial experience building production models, tests and docs. * Modern BI with an integrated semantic layer — building self-serve dashboards and owning metric definitions (e.g. Omni, Looker, Thoughtspot). * Engagement and event analytics — designing tracking/instrumentation and analysing behavioural signals, with the statistical judgement to separate signal from noise. * Fluent with AI tools — building LLM-based pipelines to classify and analyse content at scale. * A strong communicator who turns analysis into clear narratives editors and leadership can act on. * Curious and a fast learner — comfortable grasping distressed-market concepts within a few explanations; a background blending data and storytelling is a real plus. * Finance or distressed-debt knowledge is a plus, not essential. * Bonus: content, web, SEO, social or audience/growth analytics; Python for deeper analysis. OUR BENEFITS We’re a scaling start up, and we enjoy sharing our success, when the company succeeds, we always reinvest that in our people. We also offer huge amounts of responsibility, an abundance of opportunity for growth and a platform to truly excel. Financial & Insurance * Competitive Salary (our salary bands are benchmarked at the top end of the market) * Equity options * Pension (your minimum contributions are 4% with 9fin matching up to 7%) * Private Medical Insurance * Paid sick leave with Income Protection for long periods of illness * Group Life Assurance * Season Ticket Loan & Cycle to Work schemes Time off * 25 holiday days per year * Local public holidays (with the ability to exchange them for alternative days) * Hybrid working model, to allow you the flexibility to decide how, where and when you do your best work * Work abroad for up to 3 months a year * 1 month paid sabbatical after 5 years of service * Enhanced parental leave & flexible working arrangements available Training & Culture * Professional learning and development budget * Quarterly team socials * Summer and Winter company social events 9fin is an equal opportunities employer At 9fin we are dedicated to building and promoting a fair and inclusive workplace where everyone can reach their full potential and truly belong. We recognize that building diverse teams enables a more creative and productive environment. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might just be who we’re looking for — either for this role, or perhaps another.

Sitting within the analytics team alongside our analysts and analytics engineers, you'll own marketing analytics end-to-end, from instrumentation through to the insight that shapes where we spend. * Own the inbound funnel metrics end-to-end. Define and own the metrics across landing → MQL → SQL → trial → conversion, so marketing, sales and leadership trust the same numbers. * Build multi-touch attribution. Move beyond last-touch UTM tracking to attribution that shows which channels and campaigns actually drive pipeline and revenue. * Measure channel and campaign performance. Show where we're winning across email, paid media, social, events and SEO — what to scale, and what to stop. * Connect marketing to revenue. Model CAC, conversion, payback and cohort LTV, and quantify marketing's contribution to pipeline and bookings, in partnership with our GTM/RevOps analytics. * Own marketing data models and the semantic layer. The Role... We are looking for a commercially-minded and strategic Data Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team at Soho House. This role is deeply embedded in both the day-to-day commercial trading operations and the strategic planning side of the business. You’ll partner closely with our FP&A team, supporting business leaders with insight on how our markets are performing, how members are behaving, and helping drive decisions on growth strategy from investment choices to location expansion. A core part of the role is partnering with Finance to develop new reporting and to create and own the KPIs the business relies on to measure performance and make decisions. Responsibilities * Strategic Analysis & Growth Insight - You’ll partner with the FP&A team and senior stakeholders to deliver analysis that drives growth - supporting long-term planning, business cases, and investment decisions, and uncovering insight into market performance and member behaviour. * Trading Insights & Operational Reporting - You’ll own trading insights and reporting - developing and automating key performance dashboards and maintaining core KPIs. This includes the reporting shared with the Exec team and senior leaders, forming the backbone of how the business reviews performance and makes decisions, and empowering teams to act on data confidently. * Reporting Development & KPI Ownership - You’ll work closely with Finance to develop new management reporting and to define, build, and own the KPIs critical to how the business measures performance. Beyond surfacing numbers, you’ll build and own the underlying data models and pipelines (in dbt) end-to-end, from raw data to the dashboards leaders rely on. * AI Enablement & Self-Serve - You’ll help the business get real value from AI. By owning clean, well-modelled data, you’ll ensure agentic AI tooling (such as Omni’s) runs reliably against trusted data, and support stakeholders in using it to self-serve and answer their own questions. Requirements 3+ years of experience in a data analyst role - with a track record of delivering clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders and demonstrating a strong grasp of diverse analytical methodologies to solve complex business questions.Strong proficiency in SQL - confident manipulating and interpreting large, complex datasets to drive insights. * Hands-on data development experience - solid grasp of data modelling concepts and analytics pipelines. You’re comfortable building and owning transformations end-to-end, not just querying existing tables. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement - you’re a trusted partner, not just a data builder, and can distill complexity into clear, actionable insight. * Strategic mindset with strong commercial instincts - you understand how businesses operate and where data can create leverage. * Ability to prioritise and adapt across strategic and operational needs - whether it's analysing member behaviour or building a performance snapshot for FP&A and Exec, you switch gears with ease. * Growth mindset - eager to learn, challenge assumptions, and push boundaries, not just execute tasks. Desirables * Experience with BI Tools & notebooking environments (We use Omni & HEX). * Experience with dbt. * Experience working in or around ERP/finance systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP), with an understanding of reporting transformation. * Working experience of AI tools in day-to-day work (we use Claude).
