Find out more: www.fonoa.com The Role We're looking for a Revenue AI & Automation Architect to design and scale the systems that power Fonoa's go-to-market organisation. This role combines GTM systems, automation, data architecture, and AI implementation. You'll work across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations to improve how information moves through the business and automate work that teams currently do manually. You'll own the architecture, integrations, workflows, and AI tooling that support our commercial teams. The goal is simple: build systems that scale, improve decision-making, and reduce operational complexity. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology and wants to play a key role in how Fonoa grows. What You'll Do AI & Automation * Build AI-powered workflows that automate account research, lead qualification, forecasting support, customer health analysis, and renewal preparation * Connect AI models and automation tools to live business systems and operational data * Identify repetitive processes that can be automated and implement solutions that deliver measurable productivity gains * Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine where they can create practical business value GTM Systems & Architecture * Design and maintain the systems architecture that supports our commercial organisation * Build scalable workflows that separate data, business logic, and user experience * Reduce tooling complexity, integration debt, and manual operational work * Establish standards for system reliability, monitoring, and maintainability Data & Integrations * Own the design of the revenue data model across accounts, contacts, opportunities, customer lifecycle events, and revenue data * Manage integrations between Salesforce, marketing platforms, data warehouses, enrichment providers, and AI tooling * Ensure data quality, governance, and operational visibility across the GTM stack * Create trusted data foundations that support reporting, automation, and decision-making Business Partnership * Translate commercial strategy into scalable systems and workflows * Partner with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, Finance, and Product * Influence the tools we buy, the systems we build, and how automation becomes part of day-to-day execution * Act as a technical partner to business stakeholders, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability What We're Looking For Required * 5+ years in GTM Engineering, Revenue Operations, Revenue Systems, Business Systems, or a similar technical role * Strong Salesforce experience, with expertise extending beyond administration * Experience designing and managing complex business system integrations * Experience deploying AI-powered workflows, automations, agents, or model-driven applications into production environments * Strong data modelling and systems design skills * Ability to move comfortably between strategic planning and hands-on implementation Strong Signals * Experience building with LLMs, AI APIs, or modern automation platforms * Experience with tools such as n8n, Clay, Make, Zapier, Workato, or similar platforms * Strong opinions on data governance, automation design, and system architecture * Experience scaling systems within a high-growth B2B SaaS company * Experience working across multiple GTM functions rather than supporting a single team What This Role Is Not * A Salesforce Administrator role with a different title * A reporting and dashboard-focused operations role * A project management position coordinating technical work * An AI experimentation role without implementation ownership * A prompt engineering role disconnected from operational outcomes Why Join Fonoa? Here's how you'll make a difference: * Test-bed: Architect, build and iterate a toolchain fusing traditional automation and productivity tools (n8n, google workspace, etc) with spec-driven design and agentic working, test out on IT and Security * Iterate: Advocate, mentor and enable other early adopter teams to use our platforms, get value, provide feedback, iterate the platform * Standardise: Build self-sustaining cultural practices across the organisation, enable whole departments, scale the platform for everyone * Drive the evolution of IT operations towards an all-encompassing *-as-code infrastructure model through hands-on architecture and design * Contribute to the IT/Sec Operating System as we move wholesale to build-not-buy teams * Mentor and level up the existing IT engineering team, then whole departments, serving as a technical guide to accelerate skills transfer and foster a strong, collaborative engineering culture * Champion and advocate for our shared automation and AI platforms and methodologies, driving cross-departmental adoption to break down operational silos. What makes you a great fit: * Demonstrated experience operating at a Staff or Principal Engineer level, ideally within an established, successful, cloud-native hypergrowth SaaS environment * Hands-on builder and systems thinker - A background that includes hands-on coding, ideally in a platform or SRE team. IT experience is secondary, we need builders who can help others build better * A track record of successful AI-native adoption, showcasing how you've successfully moved workflows beyond experimental prompts into robust, production-grade automated workflows or agents * Deep technical mastery of at least some of: infrastructure-as-code, modern CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions) and enterprise-grade workflow orchestration (e.g., n8n, Zapier) * A pragmatic engineering mindset: You understand that while agentic working is fast and flexible, it brings significant utilization costs; you know how to design hybrid architectures that balance speed with financial efficiency. When faced with a complex problem, you instinctively break it down * Great leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills: The biggest challenge is always people, not technology. You treat internal teams as your customers and excel at explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical "citizen coders" and executive stakeholders alike.
