LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.
Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a
financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are
from or where they live.
What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit,
and long-term financial growth.
With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders
shouldn't limit financial opportunity.
LemFi is the financial engine for people the world wasn't built to serve. We move money, store it, grow it and lend it across 21
countries - and Africa is one of the most strategically important regions on our map. As part of a shift to a regional product
structure, we are hiring a Senior Product Manager who will own everything product for Africa: the corridors we run today, the ones
we haven't launched yet, and the partnerships that make all of it possible.
You will sit at the intersection of product, engineering, design and business development. You will know the African payments
ecosystem well enough to spot what competitors miss, make the business case for what we should build next, and then see it through
to launch and beyond. This is a high-ownership role with real scope - if you have been waiting for the chance to shape a region
rather than maintain a feature, this is it.

tackle complex challenges with real, immediate impact. Your work goes beyond metrics - it puts money back in families’ pockets and
offers access to the previously excluded. Join us to make a meaningful difference, where high performance is a lifeline for
millions.

Principal Product Manager – Upstream (Mortgages) At ClearScore we’re on a mission to help people achieve greater financial wellbeing. Within our Upstream mission, we focus on shaping and scaling new propositions that unlock meaningful value for our users. A pathway to homeownership is a key milestone in our users’ journey to financial wellbeing. We’re expanding our product team to support our global strategy in homeownership and mortgages. As a Principal Product Manager working in our newly formed Upstream Mortgages team, you will hold responsibility for the viability and roadmap direction of this emerging vertical within the ClearScore ecosystem. Reporting into the VP, Global Product, you will be central to shaping our Mortgages vertical — building on strong early foundations while evolving and extending the proposition from first principles where needed. You will define roadmap content and sequencing, make clear trade-offs across user experience, commercial opportunity and build complexity, and ensure the proposition delivers sustainable value to our users and partners. You’ll operate within a shared leadership model alongside a senior Design Lead, jointly guiding a cross-functional team spanning Product, Design, Engineering and Data. While you will not have direct line management responsibility, you will play a central role in setting priorities, structuring work and driving clarity of decision-making across the team. This is a high-impact role at the centre of bringing a complex new vertical to market, shaping how ClearScore shows up in one of the most important moments in our users’ financial lives. It requires strong product judgement, commercial awareness and the confidence to make well-reasoned decisions in a multi-stakeholder environment. What you will be doing: * Build on existing strategic thinking, identifying clear paths to user, partner and business value and shaping the proposition’s continued evolution. * Develop and maintain deep expertise in the homeownership and mortgages landscape, building strong external awareness across partners, regulation and industry trends to inform product direction. * Own the global roadmap for the homeownership and mortgages proposition, defining priorities and sequencing to ensure long-term viability and coherence in line with overall strategy. * Lead structured product discovery to validate desirability, viability and feasibility, using qualitative insight, quantitative data and commercial understanding to inform decisions. * Make clear, balanced trade-offs between user experience, commercial constraints and technical complexity, ensuring focused and coherent progress. * Partner closely with Design to deliver a compelling, simple and user-centred experience within a complex domain. * Collaborate with Commercial and Data stakeholders to ensure the proposition is grounded in market dynamics, partner realities and measurable outcomes, while retaining clear accountability for product direction. * Structure ambiguous problem spaces into clear work-streams, guiding and elevating work across the team — including elevating the quality of thinking and execution across more junior Product colleagues. * Drive momentum and decision-making, ensuring stakeholders are meaningfully engaged throughout the innovation lifecycle. Skills we'd love you to have * You know what good Product Management looks like and are comfortable owning meaningful proposition-level problem spaces within an established strategic direction. * You have demonstrated experience shaping new propositions from first principles, not only optimising existing products. * You are confident shaping roadmap direction and making clear trade-offs across competing constraints. * You are commercially aware and think in terms of value exchange, incentives and long-term proposition coherence — not just feature delivery. * You are comfortable operating within a shared leadership model, partnering closely with senior Design while retaining clear accountability for product viability. * You bring clarity to complex discussions and are able to move from alignment to decision — making well-reasoned calls even when consensus is incomplete. * You are intellectually confident and willing to challenge existing thinking constructively where evidence or judgement suggests a better path. * You combine structured discovery with strong product intuition, balancing rigour with momentum and knowing the fastest routes to validate key hypotheses. * Experience in mortgages or adjacent regulated financial products is highly desirable, though strong product craft and ClearScore ecosystem understanding may compensate. LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South. Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live. What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth. With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity. ABOUT THE ROLE LemFi is the financial engine for people the world wasn't built to serve. We move money, store it, lend it and protect it across ~21 countries - and the platform team is the force multiplier that lets every other engineering team do that at pace. This is the only platform hire we are making this year, which tells you how much we expect from this person. You will design, build and own our internal developer platform: a self-service, AI-powered environment that treats internal engineers as your customers and makes their experience of building on our cloud infrastructure genuinely fast and frictionless. You will touch everything from cloud cost efficiency to developer tooling to the golden paths that let product teams ship without waiting on ops tickets. If you have strong opinions about what great platform engineering looks like and a track record of building things from scratch, not just operating what someone else designed, this is the role. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD AND OWN * Design and build a self-service internal developer platform, golden paths, templates, guardrails, so engineers can provision, deploy and operate services without raising a ticket. * Embed AI-driven automation into the platform: intelligent cost optimisation, anomaly detection, auto-remediation and developer productivity tooling that actually gets used. * Own cloud infrastructure on AWS, architecture, cost efficiency, reliability and security posture, with clear metrics and accountability for outcomes, not just uptime. * Act as the internal product manager for the platform: talk to engineers regularly, collect requirements, prioritise by impact on developer velocity and run a visible roadmap. * Set and enforce platform standards, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, observability, secrets management, turning good practice into the default, not the exception. * Identify and fix the biggest sources of friction in the engineering workflow, using data to prioritise and presenting findings to engineering leadership. * Work lean and autonomously: this is a high-ownership role on a small team, so you will need to push things to production yourself, not coordinate others to do it. YOUR EXPERIENCE * Proven track record building an internal developer platform or developer experience function from scratch, not just maintaining one someone else built. * Deep AWS expertise: you have designed cost-efficient, production-grade cloud architectures and you can defend every line of your Terraform. * Strong DevOps and platform engineering fundamentals: Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability stacks, IaC, and the judgement to know when to use each. * Experience treating internal engineers as customers, gathering requirements, running a backlog, measuring adoption, not just shipping tools and hoping people use them. * Comfortable working without a spec: you have operated in fast-moving environments where you set the direction as much as you follow it. * Proficient in at least one scripting or backend language (Python, Go, or equivalent) and confident building automation and tooling, not just configuring managed services. * You actively build AI-powered tooling into platform and infrastructure workflows, cost anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, automated runbooks, not just use AI in your editor. * You've built or contributed meaningfully to an internal developer portal (Backstage, Port, or a comparable in-house system) and can speak concretely to what worked, what didn't, and why. NICE TO HAVE * Previous fintech or regulated-industry experience where security and compliance constraints (PCI DSS, SOC2, or equivalent) shaped your platform decisions. * Exposure to multi-region or multi-currency infrastructure at scale, ideally serving markets in Africa, Europe or the Americas.
