Principal Product Manager – Upstream (Mortgages)
At ClearScore we’re on a mission to help people achieve greater financial wellbeing. Within our Upstream mission, we focus on
shaping and scaling new propositions that unlock meaningful value for our users.
A pathway to homeownership is a key milestone in our users’ journey to financial wellbeing. We’re expanding our product team to
support our global strategy in homeownership and mortgages. As a Principal Product Manager working in our newly formed Upstream
Mortgages team, you will hold responsibility for the viability and roadmap direction of this emerging vertical within the
ClearScore ecosystem.
Reporting into the VP, Global Product, you will be central to shaping our Mortgages vertical — building on strong early
foundations while evolving and extending the proposition from first principles where needed. You will define roadmap content and
sequencing, make clear trade-offs across user experience, commercial opportunity and build complexity, and ensure the proposition
delivers sustainable value to our users and partners.
You’ll operate within a shared leadership model alongside a senior Design Lead, jointly guiding a cross-functional team spanning
Product, Design, Engineering and Data. While you will not have direct line management responsibility, you will play a central role
in setting priorities, structuring work and driving clarity of decision-making across the team.
This is a high-impact role at the centre of bringing a complex new vertical to market, shaping how ClearScore shows up in one of
the most important moments in our users’ financial lives. It requires strong product judgement, commercial awareness and the
confidence to make well-reasoned decisions in a multi-stakeholder environment.

About you * Loyalty-savvy: You’ve designed, built or scaled loyalty programmes or retention-led experiences, and you deeply understand how rewards, recognition and lifecycle touchpoints shape behaviour. * Influential product leader: You’re comfortable aligning diverse stakeholders around complex, cross-cutting initiatives - bringing clarity where others see chaos. * Data-informed decision maker: You’ve hands-on experience with experimentation, metrics and guardrails, with a strong focus on long-term value, repeat behaviour and retention. * Platform confident: You’re comfortable navigating complex environments, balancing short-term wins with long-term capability building and dependency management. * Outcome-oriented: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings and focus on impact over optics. * Clear communicator: You bring excellent collaboration skills and experience working in agile environments, keeping teams aligned and energised. * Traveller-first thinker: You instinctively zoom out to see the whole journey — always asking how this makes life easier, better or more rewarding for the traveller. #LI-SM2 #LI-Hybrid What it's like here We are the real deal - no corporate gloss, no empty promises.
