As part of this evolution, we are taking the step to full authorization as a Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft (KVG) under the German Investment Code (KAGB) and are building out our internal control functions accordingly. DEINE AUFGABEN * Own the operational build-out of our compliance function as we move to full BaFin authorization as an AIFM – you drive it day to day, while management provides oversight. * Development and implementation of our compliance policies and handbooks and design of the underlying processes from the ground up (e.g. compliance, conflicts of interest, personal account dealing, remuneration, complaints, whistleblowing) in collaboration with service providers and external advisor. * Contribute to the authorization dossier – business plan under § 22 KAGB, organizational and process documentation – together with our external advisor and the BaFin filing. * Coordinate our outsourced functions (AML, internal audit, etc.) and ensure clean interfaces and controls. * After licensing, run and evolve the permanent compliance function (KAMaRisk): monitor regulatory change (KAGB, AIFMD, DORA, SFDR/ESG), advise teams, deliver trainings, and report to management and the supervisory board. DEIN PROFIL * Several years of experience in a compliance function – or closely related (legal, AML, regulatory, audit) – at an AIFM, asset manager, bank, securities institution, or a relevant advisory or law firm, ideally experience with AIFMs holding a full BaFin authorization. * A proven ability to draft audit-proof policies, handbooks, and processes yourself – not just review them. * A structured, self-driven working style: you move a complex project forward operationally without close supervision. * Fluent German and good English, both written and spoken. * Personal integrity and reliability. * Nice to have: experience with illiquid asset classes (VC/PE) and exposure to DORA/ICT, SFDR/ESG, outsourcing (§ 36 KAGB), or AML (GwG). In just three months, the participants build innovative digital products that solve real-world challenges. DPS is a 3-month internship + training program by UnternehmerTUM, Europe’s biggest Entrepreneurship Center, located in Munich, Germany. It is aimed at students and graduates from all over the world who want to gain practical experience in digital product development and facilitate their entry into professional working life in the tech sector. #90DaysOfDPS are a high-speed roller coaster ride through the life of a digital product maker!  Conduct user research and uncover a real problem that is worth solving. Create an innovative and human-centered digital product to solve this problem. Continuously ship the production-ready application with TypeScript, Node.js, or React. Give the product intelligence by using AI, large language models, or machine learning. Design an interface that users will not only understand but love! Tell a compelling story about the benefits of your product so that the target group will want to buy and utilize it right away. To be able to do all this, you will be part of a diverse and empowered cross-functional product team.
