Som Business Unit Manager är du ledare för en av våra nationella grupper där du leder ett team av erfarna konsulter och ansvarar
för att utveckla både erbjudande och verksamhet. Gruppen har sin grundkompetens inom el och arbetar med bland annat systematiskt
elsäkerhetsarbete genom managementanalys, utveckling och implementering av arbetssätt och rutiner, besiktningar, beställarstöd
samt utbildningar.
Våra uppdrag spänner över flera branscher, från försvar och bygg till kraftförsörjning och tillverkande industri.
Som Business Unit Manager kommer du att fortsätta utveckla erbjudandet och gruppen på nationell nivå. Det gör du bland annat genom

POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the President & CEO, the VP of Flight Operations is responsible for planning, directing and implementing the organization’s policies, strategic objectives, and both operational and commercial initiatives, ensuring the safe, compliant and reliable operation of the airline. SECONDARY * Improve financial operating performance through increased reliability, resulting in surpassing business revenue sales targets, profit margins and cashflow. * Oversee business partnerships, including liaising with local airport authorities. * Input and assist, if applicable, in raising additional capital to enable the airline to meet growth and market share targets. * Achieve improved efficiencies through the implementation of new tools and technologies and ensure that the cost efficiency plans are driven. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations as specified by domestic and international regulatory agencies. * Work with the President and executive management team to ensure compliance with all financial controls utilized by the company’s parent, Exchange Income Corporation. * Work with the executive team to develop corporate and business level tactics and to communicate key positioning and performance metrics to financial and strategic constituencies. * Track and review financial forecasts and budgets, compare actual results and monitor business performance and compliance. * Build financial models to validate the costs/benefits of existing practices, considering budget, organizational impact and financial reward. * Conduct due diligence on corporate capabilities, distribution/marketing channels and strengths and weaknesses to provide strategic insights and recommendations. * Use sound financial and market analysis to build a case and make recommendations for taking a strategic position regarding sales, operations, finance, product development and executive audiences. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Assist and step in for department as required. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS * High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent * Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset * Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations * Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience within a large airline organization in progressively more responsible positions * 6+ years of progressive managerial experience at the department director/manager level * Able to hold or be delegated the Operations Manager role in a 705 Airline * Current ATPL, Multi, IFR and Class I Medical * Metro II/III PPCs, Dash 8 PPC/LOFT(Sim) is an asset * Demonstrated ability to manage key constituent relationships, including Finance, Legal, Human Resources and Transport Canada * A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices and procedures, and other operational issues faced by the organization * Strong knowledge of fiscal management and responsibility, business finance, capital funding, contracts and partnerships * A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills * Experience creating and managing budgets for a large, distributed organization * Knowledge of airline industry, specifically with regard to flight operations techniques, procedures and regulations (TC, ICAO, FAA, etc.) * Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines * Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional language skills would be an asset WORKING CONDITIONS * Physically able to perform all listed job duties * Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role * Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone * Work performed primarily in an office environment; contact with staff and the public, and occasionally outdoor work * Use of company-issued cell phone, accessible weekend/weekday 24/7 or delegated to designate when unavailable Methods and procedures described or implied in the job profile may be altered to accommodate employees.
