WHY OATLY? Across the world people’s consumption habits and diets are evolving to be more plant-based. Enter Oatly, the #1 oat based dairy alternative producer in the world with products spanning multiple categories. We’re determined on being part of the discussion on the long-term future of the food and beverage industry. To keep this movement going, we need more brilliant minds to come work with us to keep the momentum going and the Oatly flowing. Our sole purpose as a company is to make it easy for people to eat better and live healthier lives without recklessly taxing the planet's resources in the process. Sustainability, nutritional health and trust are at the heart of what we do. We are building a culture that constantly upgrades each other so we can upgrade the planet. This is a company that shows great respect and a fearless approach to make positive change. Does this feel exciting? Well, this is where you come in. WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO Your mission is simple but impactful: make our master data smarter, more reliable, and ready to drive better decisions across Oatly. You’ll play a key role in our digital journey, helping turn data into insights and automation into real business value. From designing data pipelines to supporting AI-driven capabilities, you’ll work across teams and systems to improve how we operate, every single day. More specifically, you will:
Ensure high-quality master data across enterprise systems like ERP (D365) and EDI platforms
Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable data pipelines using modern tools and best practices
Drive automation and contribute to making AI a core capability within Oatly
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver smart, data-driven solutions
Support agile ways of working, facilitating collaboration and continuous improvement
Contribute to and improve our data governance practices and processes
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable efficient and reliable delivery
Work closely with master data stewards to ensure strong data ownership and consistency
Support compliance efforts (including SOX) and participate in audits when needed
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
A B.Sc. in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field
+2 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role
Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Power Platform (Automate, Apps, Power BI, Dataverse), and DevOps
Familiarity with modern data practices including CI/CD, version control (GIT), and automated testing
Fluency in English
Experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language
A passion for data engineering, automation, and digital transformation
WHO YOU ARE We think you might be the kind of person who gets a little spark from making things work better than they did yesterday You’re just as comfortable taking ownership and running with something yourself as you are teaming up with others to figure things out together because you know the best ideas rarely happen in isolation. You communicate in a way that makes people lean in, not tune out, and you turn technical complexity and the story behind the data into something people can actually understand and use. Most importantly, you’re not done learning (and honestly, you hope you never are). You care about building smarter, smoother ways of working and you get a real kick out of seeing that make a difference. YOUR APPLICATION Last day of application: 30th of June We treat all candidates equally. If you are interested, please apply through our application system; any correspondence should come from there. This ensures a smooth and fair experience for everyone. And hey, no one ticks every single box. If this feels like your kind of challenge, we’d love to hear from you. Love Oatly XOXO
