Capabilities include: * In-house market knowledge & trends * End-to-end service from idea generation through to manufacturing and launch * Technical, commercial and production expertise * Outstanding customer service About the Role We’re looking for a proactive and versatile Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical expertise and sound mechanical understanding to join our fast-paced engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of production and site equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer you will: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors, motors, control panels, and automated machinery. * Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to engineering projects aimed at increasing equipment reliability and performance. * Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company’s CMMS system. * Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards. * Provide technical support and collaborate closely with production and operations teams. What skills and experience do I need for this role? * Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC) in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineering. * Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment. * Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with a solid understanding of PLCs, sensors, drives, and control systems. * Basic mechanical skills (e.g., bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics). * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail. * Flexible, team-oriented, and capable of working independently under pressure. Desirable: * 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations. * Experience with automated systems, robotics, or packaging machinery. * Knowledge of lean maintenance or continuous improvement practices (TPM, Kaizen, 5S). The role: As our Senior Data Product Manager, you’ll sit right at the intersection of product, analytics, engineering and senior leadership, helping define the data products that power smarter decisions across Liberis. You’ll have real ownership over roadmap, prioritisation and ways of working, and your work will directly influence how teams access, understand and use data day to day. You will own the data and insights product for Liberis, building the foundations that let our commercial, credit and operations teams actually understand the business they're running. This is about shipping products which are genuinely useful, not just technically correct. What you'll do: Your primary job is to help Liberis's commercial decision makers understand the small businesses we serve and how they consider, use and perform across our product range. Doing this well requires a clear conceptual model of the business and a willingness to engage with stakeholders across the business, as well as taste and customer empathy in developing a great insights product including dashboards, insight tools and self-serve capabilities. You will own the roadmap for our internal data & insight products. Working with stakeholders across commercial, credit, finance and operations, you will define what good looks like and then work with your team to build it. You will run prioritisation, manage the backlog and make decisions about where effort goes. You will also spend a meaningful amount of time in the detail, reviewing data models and dashboards, asking hard questions about definitions, and making sure what we ship is accurate and trusted. You will partner closely with the engineering side of your team on how data is modelled and structured in BigQuery and DBT, and with analysts on how it gets presented in Looker. You don't need to write production code, but you need enough technical understanding to be a genuine partner in those conversations. You will also be responsible for continuing to expand our partner-facing reporting, whereby partners gain visibility into their portfolio. What we think you'll need: This role requires someone who can think clearly about complex data structures and translate that thinking into products that non-technical people actually find useful. About the Role Reporting to Head of Projects & Engineering, the Engineer the Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) - Shift Lead is responsible for ensuring all reactive and proactive preventative maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the required level and any impact on production demand is kept to a minimum. Ensure the scheduling of works is appropriate, raising any purchase orders and ensuring all orders are delivered on time for seamless completion and distributing of works. As a Maintenance Engineer you will: * Ensure proactive and reactive maintenance is completed according to priority and in a timely manner. * Carry out Fault diagnosis accurately to identify problems with machinery and systems. * Support the electrical team as and when required. * Abide by and maintain all appropriate workshop regulations, ie. Abrasive wheels and General Workshop Safety * Complete all elements of the asset care system (AMS) to ensure it remains effective. * Shift handovers are recorded and effective. * Maintain consistently high standards in all works and documentation. * Maintenance activities are effective and feedback any areas for improvement. * Collaboration with Compounding and Production planning is effective. * Spares are maintained, ready and available. * Ensure yours and your shifts training remains up to date. Co-ordinate with those responsible where necessary. * Create, review and submit any documentation via doc control. * Communicate with suppliers when parts are required, seeking quotes, raising PO’s and tracking the delivery. * Permit issuing with relevant competencies. * Schedule proactive and reactive job tickets ensuring workloads are balanced and completed in a timely manner * Attend and contribute to the daily Short Interval Control (SIC) meetings * Monitor OEE and identify any patterns or trends and identify improvement measures where required.
